Any better recommendations on where such a dialogue should happen?

Yeah, pretty strange how people are using this place as a forum to discuss a brewery.

Just had Superf*ckingyawn for the first time today. I have to say it has been a while since a beer blew my mind like that. One of the best IPAs (at 9.5% should be DIPA IMO) I've had this year. Just a very well done and masterfully crafted beer. Highly recommended for anyone that hasn't tried it yet.

SFY was mislabeled as 4.1% on the backyard menu the other day. Wife and I sculled a pitcher - kick started the night

@Tbub18 I don't know how SFY doesn't have more hype going on right now. I would stand it up against a lot of what OH is doing right now.

Made it to Threes yesterday for the first time. Cool space with a great vibe. Beers were very good, I especially enjoyed their saisons. Only downside was they were out of three different beers listed on the menu. But it was a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon.

@Jacobob10 sorry to hear that... I don't know what was in their air Saturday, but we went through A LOT of beer. A few fresh batches ready this week though, so we'll be replenished within a day or two.

No worries. Thanks for the response. In all fairness, the unavailable beers on the menu were removed from the board behind the bar, so at least that was being kept up to date. A good time was still had by all. Hope to return soon!

Planning on heading over on Saturday. Can't believe I haven't been yet--got shamed by a Manhattan friend who stopped by the other day. Oh yeah...I can walk there, too :slight_frown:

Nice little Saturday afternoon at Threes. The space was way bigger than I expected--the outdoor space was really nice, me and a few buddies shared a table with a few ladies. As many have stated already, SFY is the real deal--we also had Words Have No Meaning--delightfully impressed by this one as well. Contemplated a growler fill of SFY but that would be a big beer to take down by myself.

Shoot! I need to try this now! SFY was world class for me, above best NY DIPA.

According to their Beermenus, only one of their beers (Brett Duck Porter) is available for growlers. Is this true? Is $9-10 about the standard for a 32 oz growler?

Was thinking about possibly stopping by on Saturday. Didn't realize how close to Other Half. Makes my trips into Brooklyn that much better!
