Just saw it on the shelf and picked up a 4pk. Wish this was year round because it is delicious!

Pretty good stuff. Y'know, for Wisconsin.

Mmmm delicious piney, oily, citrus hoppiness.. Theyre known for their lagers and fruit beers but between this, Black Top and Moon Man their hoppy stuff is fantastic.

Nom Nom! This is a really good IIPA, no doubt about it. That and Illumination set the bar for Wisco Imperial IPA's.

Hope this lasts until I roll through on the 23rd.

This "Thumbprint" needs to get into at least a annual release. But 3 cheers for the year round idea!

The IIPA is very good I always thought of it as a softer flavor version of Founders Double Trouble.

    I really enjoy this one!

Didn't this come out in April/May last year? I thought I remember it being a late spring release....

It's really good. I think it's good to keep it a seasonal release because I want it when it's fresh! Knowing the amount of NG that sits on the shelves in Wisconsin, it wouldn't be out of the question to have lots of old IIPAs sitting on the shelves.

    No, but seriously.
It's REALLY good. My favorite IIPA.
As someone said above, while NG is known from fruits and lagers, they are NO SLOUCH when it comes to hoppy brews!
Their "Hop Hearty" is still a favorite IPA of mine, too.

New Glarus Thumbprint IIPA is one of the truly underrated DIPA's - great character and terrific balance! Easy drinkable at 9.75 abv

One of the best DIPAs I've had.

The worst thumbprint beer to cellar, by a longshot.

Picked up a 4-pack to see how this year's batch tasted. Happy to say it exceeded them! Great beer.

There must be a hundred posts regarding not cellaring IPAs, IIPAs

I buy IPAs and IIPAs for the fresh hoppy flavor, if you cellar it the fresh hoppy flavor goes away leaving an experiment.

Anyone else notice the "Wisconsin hops" from boil to dry-hop on the label this year?
    I think that is new...

Am I the only one that thinks this batch is an onion/garlic bomb? :grimacing:

edit: well to be fair there is some nice mango and tropical fruit flavors as well, but I am overwhelmed with onion.

Hot Damn this is one World Class IIPA. I poured it into my tulip and could smell it from far away. I put this up there with any of the top IIPA's! Get some! I'm getting more and more and more!
