Thunder Bay visit

    I'll be visiting thunder bay in the near future and am wondering which liquor stores and bars to visit? Are there any local brews I should be sure to try?

    The couple beers I have had from Sleeping Giant were quite good perhaps @andrenaline could be of more assistance

    Sleeping Giant for beers, Sovereign House for beers. nothing much for stores outside the LCBO.

    Visit Sleeping Giant for sure. They've got bombers of their IPA and a new Saison just got released (brewed with peppercorns and lemon). All their flagships are available in growlers, but can be found on tap at quite a few places around town. The Foundry has the best tap selection, Sovereign Room has the best bottle selection (be sure to check the fridge because sometimes there's beers in the fridge not listed on the chalkboard). Dawson Rd LCBO and Arthur St LCBO have the best selection, but coming from Minni you're likely to be disappointed. Any other questions, feel free to fire me a PM.
