I am thinking about heading down to both breweries tomorrow. It is a long round trip (haul  for me to get down there, so I want to make sure that I will get beer at each. I am looking for recent information about typical sell out times and allotments. I am assuming, I should go to Tilted first? There is no info on either of their websites or social media about what will be available; is that typical? Many thanks!

Tilted Barn first, try to get there about an hour before open. They should be posting cans for the weekend today. Then head to Proclamation, don't think anything should sell out immediately there. And according to their website they will be posting beers today

Proclamation rarely sells out. TB sells out about an hour after posted opening time from what I've seen lately. You'll probably want to get to TB early.

Nope, they haven't moved yet. Looking forward to when they do.

TB is fantastic. I went for the first time a few weeks ago and have a really good experience. I definitely recommend getting their first as others have said. And if you see a line don't be discouraged - it's very fun in and of itself.

Just note that Proclamation typically opened at 3:30 Fridays for awhile but is opening 5:30 tomorrow for a twin can release. So before I would say hit Proc first then jump into Tilted line at 4-4:15, but now definitely go to TB first, get some cans and a pour then proceed to Proc.

Also note you can get growlers of Cactus at TB, first time in a long time for fills. Per the facebook post you could get the 8 cans max then get up to the state limit in growler fills (160 ounces left).

When you say sell out, what exactly do you mean? Cans , growlers, no beer left on the property??

Sell out of cans. You can still get pours or growlers if available

I'm really enjoying/enjoyed the brew each from Tilted Barn and Proclamation. Still have others to checkout. Tilted Barn is nailing it with Libby W/Nelson.

    Cheers!

I plan on hitting Tilted Barn this Friday or Saturday. Once i'm on line, how quickly does the line move? If I'm on line by 4:30 on Friday, when do you think I'll be out with my cans? Also, is it kids friendly? Any place for them to run around? Thanks.

I was in line at 1220 or so on Saturday with at least 100 people in front on me. Took about 45 minutes to get my cans from opening. Fairly kid friendly though the line can stretch through the parking lot and need to be careful. The people around me were good about letting me wander with my son so he could see the chickens, tractors, etc and not losing my spot.

Hi. I'm heading up to the Cape on Sunday morning and was going to stop by Proclamation on the way up. Do cans typically last until Sunday?

What days do they typically release beers? Weekends or weekdays or both?

    Thanks in advance,

    Dave

It varies. They've had a pilsner, session IPA and wheat beer which last weeks not days but the "hyped" releases (esp. DIPA) last a day, maybe two. I went to a DDH DIPA new beer release several weeks back and it lasted an hour at two 4-packs changed to one 4-pack limit.

Releases can vary between Thursday and Saturday for timing. When they expect huge crowds they'll lean towards later Friday afternoon or Sat afternoon to avoid conflicts with the neighboring businesses. The aforementioned sell out was for a Sat 1pm release.

All their stuff is quality so if you have to "settle" for Derivative, Sprout, etc. I would grab some regardless. With canning most of their beer and having some available for pours in the taproom I don't know how often Proc is filling growlers nowadays, but they fill any branded clean growler if that helps.

Tilted Barn has much longer lines and runs the risk of selling out. Proclamation should be a lot more casual as long as its not a big release day.

Yes for cans and merch, but pours are cash only I believe.
