    I'll admit I used to be a "drink beer to get drunk" guy. I didn't think about beer very often. I just made sure I never ran out of cheap BMC! but that is behind me now. Now I actually think about beer a lot. It's just a matter of interest though. "What should I try next?" "Where can I get some of that?" "Ooh, I cant wait to taste that kind!" And so forth. I have found an appreciation for good beer and the art of beer and beer making! I am super excited to keep learning and exploring. However, I would still enjoy knocking down a 12er of Whatever BMC around a campfire with my buddies.

    This may sound odd, but sometimes I try to remember or re-create aromas or flavors from beer in my mind.

    It's almost always an IPA (ah, who am I kidding, it's always an IPA). Maybe because the flavors and aromas of IPAs are so distinct. Sometimes, I try to remember what my favorites smell or taste like (like Fat Heads Head Hunter). Other times, I try to mentally create the perfect IPA flavor & aroma.

    Am I the only one who does this?
