Time crunch clarifying advice

    I agree that the hops do need some help to stay behind. Typically a cold crash does the trick for me and I have no problem getting hop-particle-free beer out of the fermentation vessel. I have never used a hop bag for dry hops except when dry hopping in the serving keg.

    The clarity I mentioned earlier was in regards to the hop material (potentially) binding up some yeast and proteins in the beer, not the hop material binding hop material. Some yeast and proteins will certainly bind to the hop particles as they fall through the beer, which should improve the beer's clarity (maybe immeasurably so or maybe negated by the hop haze). I can't seem to find where I read this, so.. feel free to disregard it.

    Either method (bag of free) should provide adequate aroma, given appropriate exposure to the beer.
