I'm going to start a brewery that only brews our IPAs with c-hops, use crystal malt and at no point in time will we beg people to try it because "it doesn't taste like beer I promise!"

Join the movement and we will create the new style called GTFO My Lawn IPAs

I didn’t live in Texas at that time, was in SoCal. I believe Mosaic’s burst on the scene around that time period (2012/3 maybe? don’t know when specifically), but it was definitely all the rage with my local breweries (and many nationwide). Obviously many beers have come and gone. But Mosaic as a hop has had staying power.

So yea. I think Yellow Rose is an iconic beer. One of the early showcases of Mosaics, certainly in Texas (and is still around). But IMO not deserving of a new style or sub style.

    Cheers.

Will there be a lawn outside the brewery that I can wait in line on with my folding chair?

Pfriem has been doing a "bright pale ale" since at least 2018, iirc.

Call it whatever you want, but I still think these terms are simply descriptions and not "styles." I'm all for being as (no pun intended) transparent as possible with what you're selling, but don't try to act like everything is a separate style.
