The Belukus boys are telling me that we should expect a new Gueuze this summer in TX. My fingers are crossed, and I don't believe it till I see it, but I am quite excited about this. More details to come as things develop.

This one? Its already here - they tried to sell it to me at Specs Brodie the other day, but at $13.99 a bottle I wasnt willing to bite. Bought a Liefman's Cuvee Brut for $9.99 instead and enjoyed it greatly.

Have you had the Timmermans Oude Gueuze? It's actually pretty damn good. It is one of 3 different gueuze that Timmerman's makes, and yes it has already been here in Texas. I still see it around occasionally here in Dallas.

The other 2 gueuze that they make, are not very good gueuze so don't get too excited Sam. The one you want is already here.

    Cheers,
    Chad

No, I haven't had it, but I'll probably bite and try it at some point. I honestly didnt even know they had it, so it was good that the beer guy pointed it out to me.

That limited edition OG from Timmermans is solid. I prefer it over Cuvee Rene, and for me that's saying something. I understand the general distaste from craft guys toward Lindemans and Timmermans because of their mostly-pasteurized/sweetened offerings, but both know how to do the authentic stuff right. Lindemans Kriek CR is still one of the best I have had.
