Timmerman's Pumpkin Lambicus?

    Anyone seen this around LA or Orange Counties?

    I emailed Timmerman's about this beer and they said it's being distributed by Wine Warehouse and should be available at Whole Foods. I've been to a couple Whole Foods (Huntington Beach and Woodland Hills) in the last week or so, but haven't seen it yet. Halp!

    I believe it is. Was kind of hoping for an Oude Pompoen Lambic, but we'll have to cope with this.

    I'm curious as hell about this, especially considering I have a ~year old sour pumpkin ale ready to be bottled at the moment. Would love to taste this side-by-side.

    To my knowledge it hasn't hit Stateside yet at least in distribution channels in Los Angeles or Orange County. It is distributed by Wine Warehouse but there has been no mention of it this year. If it is like previous batches it is sweetened and not tart. Timmerman's releases this beer every year. If you were hoping for the Selection Oude Gueuze with Pumpkin you should probably not get your hopes up.

    I know it's arrived in other places in the states (a few states on the east coast have it), and there's already a few ratings on RateBeer.

    I figured it was going to be a sweetened lambic, but it still is relevant to my interests.
