Is a 2 year aged Tiny "worth" 2 dollars more than a fresh Tiny? Liquor store "aged" that is. Let's say 7.99 to 9.99 USD. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/392/56274 Comments?
yes, b/c it's $2 for an experiment. if it were like +$10, i'd probably balk, but at $2 why not roll the dice? in other news, tiny is so good.
$2... really? Unless it sat in the window as a display bottle... I say HELL YEAH!!! Tiny ROCKS with a couple yrs on it!!!
I bought this while on vacation in South Carolina. I thought it sounded good but after reading what you guys have posted I'm glad I picked it up! Sounds like the consensus is to sit on it for a year or two?
Glad to hear everyone digs it! I have been sitting on a bottle for a year now so I'll have to open it soon. I've just been waiting for a tasting with friends or something since it's a big beer.
It's an easy drinker by yourself, trust me. With a little food in the gut you're fine going for it all on your own. I do that with the majority of my 750s because I don't want to share them, plus I don't have a lot of people close who'd be willing (without getting greedy). I've had it from fresh to three years old and loved every single one, it really is a great beer no matter what.
