So I know going early in the week is the best idea, but today I went to VT to get some Lawsons finest. The cannery is out of Heady today. Does anyone have any tips on where to find some? I see they have a retail map but wanted to see if anyone maybe knows a spot that doesn't sell out quite as fast. Thanks everyone.

The cannery usually has beer during the weekday-M-W or Th. I have passed by the brewery twice on weekends on it was out of beer. You could call the cannery and find out who sells it locally. But it is usually sold out by the weekend.

I have friends going to Connecticut in about two weeks. Is it available at any bottle shops in Boston?

Like someone said before, Heady typically sells out quick pretty much anywhere in the beginning of the week. When I went there at the end of July though, there was a bottle shop in Stowe that had some on like a Friday. I'd check out that shop and see if you have any luck there. Hopefully you'll find some. Good luck!

I actually found it at a place called The Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont right outside of Boston last year...they let me purchase it over the phone and held it for me until the following week when I was heading to Ptown. Very cool place...nice selection either way even if they don't have HT...check out their website...www.craftbeercellar.com

    Good luck!

If you don't see it listed on their site call and ask anyway...I don't think they get it too often so they might not list it

If you can't find HT, do what I do: chew on some hop pellets

Check the Co-op in Montpelier. I have found it there in the past.

As I understand it, most retail outlets receive their shipments early in the week. It's therefore unlikely that there are many stores that will have any left on a Saturday. Good luck in your hunting...

Yep - cool shop and nice people.

I believe one or two small shipments went to MA early last year and better shops and bars received allocations (Redstone and Beer Cellar got some) but that was the last time I've seen it for sale outside of VT.

Correct, Hunger Mountain Co-Op is your best bet at this point. They received a larger shipment because of Columbus Day.

    Sarcasm and dry humor sucks.
Heady is at the co-op, just not when you want it OP.

The Village Markets in Waterbury and Richmond are possibilities but realistically, it's foliage season, VT is packed and the HT is likely long gone.
