Note that Trillium did open a 2nd location in Boston last fall in the Fenway neighborhood so they now have 2 locations in the city.

i spoke with the courier delivery driver before about the warehouse they (the courier, not TH) uses for their deliveries..there aren't any fridges in there. so if TH didn't put the ice packs in the boxes, the beer would get warm, sitting in the warm warehouses.

I'm perfectly fine with that unless it gets above 80 degrees or so in that warehouse which would probably never happen outside of some hot July or August days.

Any parking advice for Comcast center? I think this was talked about before but figured couldn’t hurt to ask again. I ended up spending like 15 minutes just looking for meter parking last time. Is there a loading area close by anyone knows of? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Thinking about stopping by today just to pick up some cans. Is it best to stop at General Store, Fermentaria or Brew Cafe for that?

Not the brew cafe; only crowlers there. So Ferm or general store, with different offerings at both. Usually the freshest IPAs are at the Ferm. This shows exactly what is where and when: https://www.tiredhands.com/cans

Definitely general store or ferm to just pick up a few things, and even sit down and try some stuff at ferm. Parking/navigating center city is a nightmare

The 1800 block of Market St has a loading zone right in front of the big apartment building. I’ve used that multiple times when picking up at Comcast and it’s always worked.

Thanks @StephenPizzi ill definitely do that next time. I got luck and ended up half a block away this time. That loading zone area would be perfect though. Thanks again.

Completely agree.. I'm 45 minutes from TH and I have done DD before but with the price hike I'll kindly pass. Hell I can almost get a 12 shipper to California for that price.. I agree they need a better system.

it really isn’t up to TH about the whole delivery system. The legality of shipping alcohol in state is tough. You, the business, need to find couriers to ship it. I’m pretty sure TH doesn’t make a profit off the shipping, if they do, it’ll be very little. Quick Courier Services, their delivery company, is the one charging the fees. There aren’t that many couriers that will delivery alcohol in PA and I’m sure TH have done their research to find the most affordable one.

17th St has a 30 min zone on the corner near Comcast and then the majority of the 1700 block of Arch is 30 min as well. Parking should be easy there as long as you're not going too late.

Hippie Flip Candy Flip at the Brew Cafe is outstanding. On par with stuff I’ve had from Hudson Valley. Go grab a pour or a growler (only $12) if you get the chance

WRT, the Brew Cafe, Jean informed me the other day with a big, bright smile on his face that his kid brother is brewing at the Brew Cafe. He went thru a tutelage with Jean and he obviously is still working with him on crafting recipes, but for the most part he is brewing on his own. I know both Jean and his Mom are very happy about the situation....a real family brewing enterprise!!

Gotta be crazy and hard at the same time to be in their position. This goes for a lot of these breweries nowadays too. There is no way they probably ever thought they'd grow into what they are now.

To have to try and keep true to yourself while also balancing out the business/logistics side of such growth has to be a lot of work. That little brew cafe turned into: ferm, general store, dispensary, st oners, beer garden....so crazy
