    Tired Hands currently has available two lager varieties in cans available for $15 per four pack. In fact, they currently have more offerings for less than $20 per four than they do for more than $20 per four. I suspect the reason that you don't see them advertised as much is because the sell more slowly than the high ABV stuff.

    Complain about price points all you want (I guess), but this particular complaint is just strange.

    As has been discussed they are indeed in the lager game (e.g., Helles, Pilsner, Schwarzbier, etc.) and those beers are indeed tasty. But at 15 bucks a 4-pack/16 ounce cans they are not price competitive with other local offerings. While I enjoy drinking a Trendler Pils from time to time I will purchase a Sterling Pig Shoats Pilsner for $7.99 (6-pack/12 ounce cans) instead.

    We all get to choose here.

    Cheers!

    @William_Navidson

    Sorry if i came across as complaining. Given the state the economy at the moment, why do you think THBC is brewing IPAs and stouts at price points over $20.00?? My question was whether or not it makes sense to brew the weekly beer releases at more economical price points at the moment instead of the current offerings given the uncertainty of the economy.

    I'm with you. They are not price competitive. Workhorse Brewing has similar lager offerings but at $10 per 4 pack.

    New Trail pumps out all different styles between $10.99-13.99 a 4 pack and their beer is up there with the best of them.

    Probably because the beer being canned and released right now was brewed at least a few weeks ago when COVID wasn't hot on the brewery's radar?

    Stouts aren't a fair comparison. They bottled these and charged the same $7 a bottle, they'd fly off the shelves

    Does anyone know if the watermelon varietal milkshake completely sold out? Or if they're just adding inventory day by day? Thinking of making a trip there from NJ

    I'm no expert on brewery operations, but I would guess that since Tired Hands is brewing at or near their capacity, they have to plan weeks or even months ahead of time what they are going to brew to ensure they are using their equipment to its maximum capacity. It's probably not that simple to just change up the schedule in a week's time. And even if you could, it still takes several weeks to make a lager and 2 or 3 to make a pale ale.

    And I mean they always have HopHands available, and at the same $14/4-pack price they have sold it for since they first started canning it. Alien Church still exists and is $18/4-pack.

    I would that the TTB (I’m pretty sure they approve labels) would maybe be more lenient right now. Cause I’m sure of lot of beer bound for kegs may go to cans at lots of places given the circumstances. Then again if labels aren’t approved I guess they can’t sell them. Not an expert on it but I think I’m right. Anyone?

    [Obligatory "I'm not an expert, but I find this area of the law interesting"] Did a cursory search and it looks like the TTB is operating close to normal, they just sent out a notice urging businesses to submit using the online form. This is the kind of work that can be done remotely (and the fed gov in general was much slower to respond to COVID than were private industry and state gov), and I would guess that it is. Plus, all the labels we're seeing now were ostensibly approved a few weeks ago at least, right?

    I didn’t think there was any urgency to enforce recommendations by authorities when I was out last on Monday. It could have changed between now and then but I haven’t heard anything like I have about DE and NJ.

    They sold out of Shambolic real fast. I got some Adaptive Distortion instead. I’m not disappointed.

    Should be no problem to keep this beer in the fridge for a little while right? Say maybe a few months or so?
