It is, just announced for Friday afternoon. Today there is something at the school,
    so no worries for tomorrow.

To be fair to them, if you bring a non-TH growler, they will fill one of theirs for you and not charge you for the glass. So, at least they let you "use" other growlers. The reasoning I am told is that they only can control the cleanliness of their growlers and do not want their beer tasting "off" because people did not clean their growlers properly. But at the end of the day, if you walk in with any growler, you walk out paying just for the fill.

So, when you walk in with your Tired Hands growler they do not fill that particular growler?

    Cheers!

I can respect that. It just comes off like they want people to be advertising for them, or to have their customers walking around with their Tired Hands growler like it's some kind of status symbol for Ardmore yuppies.

They do fill that growler. It's more for marketing than quality control IMO.

That makes sense to me. Breweries do indeed like to have their names on growlers. Iron Hill is another business that requires you use their branded growlers. Their 'excuse' is PLCB regulations but that reasoning is fallacious.

    Cheers!

I know what you mean but it's a fine line between that and pride in their business. If they wouldn't exchange growlers I'd agree with you but I understand that Tired Hands wants people to recognize their beer when drinking it and spread their name around a little more when people pour from their growlers.

Last time I got a growler from Iron Hill they did just swap mine for a clean one though which is a nice system as long as you have their growler.

Tomorrow at 5:00pm at the @fermentaria we will be selling cans of our precious house Pale Ale, HopHands, as well as High Road, our hyper fresh and hyper positive Double IPA. High Road was brewed with spelt and hopped intensely with Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe, and Centennial. Constructed to stamp out the negative static that has become so prominent in every layer of society, and especially in our noble industry. If you ever feel the need to go negative, speak ill of someone's hard work, or become defensive about a technique or process, remember: NO IDEA IS ORIGINAL. LIFE IS A MIRROR OF CONFUSION. NEGATIVITY IS A PRISON. TAKE THE HIGH ROAD. $14 per four pack of HopHands. $18 per four pack of High Road. Allotments will be posted tomorrow.

Different experiences. Since I had that happen the first time I have brought in TH growlers and they always have swapped them out for "fresh" ones.

Yeah that must have been the inspiration. They basically just swapped the bolt shape for a peace sign.
