Tired Hands (April 2016)

For the sake of discussion, comparing Tired Hands to a peer in its pricing: In the past few months Other Half has released non-BA stouts in 16.9-ounce bottles for $15 and $12, or 89 cents per ounce and 71 cents per ounce. The four-pack of Coffee Only Void is a relative steal at $22 for 64 ounces (34 cents per ounce).

 

Very true.

 

Plus those OH stouts are... not good.

Anyone try Ceiling yet?

Ceiling: Grapefruit Double IPA. ~8.6% Brewed with Spelt. Hopped assertively and lovingly with Chinook, Simcoe, Amarillo, Citra, Centennial, Columbus. Conditioned on grapefruit juice + zest.

Nope. It hasn't been released anywhere yet.

 

Lol I was gonna say this but didn't want to catch slack.

 

I've also been underwhelmed by the OH stouts I've had.

Ceiling is on tap at the Ferm. And Chocolate-Raspberry Milkshake IPA (wtf?) is on at the Cafe.

 

If anyone tries that post your thoughts! Super curious now.

Just posted, 140 cases for today's 5pm release.

 

I was really hoping the yield to be in the neighborhood of 180 cases. And even at that number I felt it was questionable whether cans would last until I can get there after work.

 

I hear ya.. I'm curious how bad it'll be around 4:30.

 

but that doesn't lead to 420 allotments.. haha

 

Ha, true. I'm hearing around 60 people in line right now.

 

Line is at the stop sign now, but it isn't a tight line.

 

Currently no line and a whole pallet left.

 

There is a lot left and the line is completely inside so if you're nearby it'll be easy to get.

Samples of Bud Strawberita have run out but they're giving out samples of Ceiling now and it's great. They should can Ceiling.

 

That strawber-Rita was really good.

 

Ceiling is delicious. Grapefruit blast. A dangerous beer to say the least.
