Plan on driving from the Hyde Park/Poughkeepsie area on Sunday for the Out of the Emptiness release. Just curious, as it'll be my first time at Tired Hands, what are special releases usually like and when does a line begin forming? How quickly do bottles sell out? Thanks for any help!

People line up as early as 7AM. The releases are always very chill with really cool people to chat with in line. Bottles sell out before they even get through the line, so keep in mind people will get shut out. No drinking is allowed outside in Ardmore, however many people just put beer in coffee cups and do it that way. Don't quote me on this, but if you get there by 10AM you should be safe to get your allocation. Have fun and i'll cya there!

Thanks for the advice, I'm used to early morning VT runs so it should be fun. It has been awhile. Cannot wait to try Tired Hands and see Philly for the first time. Originally I was planning on coming down to do some IP trades for some cool old Cantillon bottles and eat at Vetri until I heard about this. Any recommendations on the best places to try quality beer not available in New England or The Hudson Valley? Ideally wanting to try or trade for some cool Pizza Boy bottles.

Phillytapfinder will be able to help you out. They have a list of everything on draft in Philly.

There is a bottle shop around the corner from TH. Convenient, but a bit pricy.

Can anyone recommend a bar nearby to watch the Packers game?

I'll be in the area for a friend's 30th, so this info is really helpful. Now if the temperatures and my hangover from the 30th festivities will still allow me to get there in time . . .
