Funny you say this, I watched that episode and was thinking the same.

Also I dig the print and label art but maybe without the fetus thing?

How many people in line for that beer would know that or even care?

Good point. There is a lot of ignorance and/or indifference towards beer that is not "new".

Anyone think this might NOT be as crazy as the typical shake release?

Mikeller is not the hot brand it once was and single citra with salt and guava is not a milkshake.

Monkish is huge but this is a lager.

11 percent donut IPA is...weird sounding.

It may not be as bad as the last 3 release day, but will be crazy still.

Gotta say, not really interested in any of those 3. Would certainly try them, but not worth the effort IMO.

Its a tempting release but I much rather hit Forest and Main for that bomb ass Marius bottle than deal with the shit show in Ardmore tomorrow. Happy Holidays gents!

Yeah, I'm sure F&M's release will be fantastic without any wait. I'm going to try to get to both (if the line allows) and get stocked up. A salty IPA sounds great to me and the 11% abv donut thing is intriguing.

It'll definitely be crazy, maybe not quite the last Friday releases but solely because its Friday on a holiday weekend there are many people who are off of work who aren't normally and will make the trip.

Yeah I'm hoping that is pretty smooth. Never been to forest and main for a release.

Everyone will be at Tired Hands waiting in line so it should be a quick in and out. Good luck!

60 people standing in a line? Or 60 chairs...

No one wants to be the person to start the argument. It is easy to say on the internet - but when you are there, it doesn't seem worth the confrontation

Especially since the last time it was literally hundreds of chairs and 4 people. At this point if I make it early to a release I'm just throwing a chair down again. Especially with the cold. Until the police declare all of it some kind of sidewalk hazard.

Would love to see a line length vs allotment vs sell-out time chart some day by someone with more time and patience than me.

So that you can just see the allotments online, ask about the line length, and accurately calculate your odds of not getting shut out.

I haven't done a line yet where I stood in the cold for hours only to get shut out, but I think it'd really sour me to doing it ever again if I was.

Please go there, get on the front of the line in front of the chairs, and video tape the results. I'm genuinely curious as to how that would go over. Do it for science!
