While I agree, its not the sentiment of most. Hell most of the collabs I have had in the past year have been mediocre at best.

I agree that collabs in general are consistently less good than a straightup brew. It's purely the novelty that attracts the crowds, and I think most are more than willing to admit it. That being said, Heist Decoder gives me high hopes for this one.

Delayed until tonight, didn't this happen with the Heist Decoder release as well?

I think the only thing to come of this will be an excellent discussion about how big the line was on here later tonight

Release delayed until 6:45pm this evening per the Instagram feed. Apparently something up with the canning line. Also full on meltdowns about what time chairs go down.

I am beginning to think I am skipping this release.

4 different cans with (likely) mixed allotments, 2 points of sale, and delayed opening is going to have people in line for a long time.

The Monkish collab sounds like a total mess, way too much going on in that beer. But its a collab with Monkish so it'll bring out quite a crowd.

The heist decoder release was miserable last year. It was delayed, cold and rainy out. Heist decoder was good, but waiting wasn’t a lot of fun that day.

The more I read the comments on Instagram, the less encouraged I am to go to this one. Might just grab a few bottles from the General Store and call it a day.

I prefer to sit on my couch and trade for it. Just landed a 4pk of each with minimal effort.

I mean, Christmas is a celebration of the first dank hazy juice bomb brewed brewed by Mary in the shed in her backyard because no brewery had room for her. If I can't shotgun a freshie on Christmas morning, why even celebrate at all, am i right?

You didn't realize that a release or two ago, where AC was described as "our freaky scary Reptoid Space Alien with Flavor Photosynthesizing Tongue IPA"?

I think I'll sit on my keister tonight and just enjoy a Hail Santa. Good beer.

Every brewery in the entire area released bottles and cans this week. Plenty of options out there.

Legend has it she didn't even have to add yeast; angels pitched it for her and created the most intensely strange and beautiful organoleptic experience that 3 unwashed dudes with long dirty beards walked all the way across the desert just to wait in line to taste some.

I caved and went over around 7:45ish. Line was down to the apartments still. For perspective from that spot on a shake release I'd be 40 mins max from the garage doors. Not tonight... Lucked out with a cool group around me in line to chat with. It was almost 9pm by the time I got to the garage doors. Everything was still available by the time I got up there, they were only checking out at two points of sale.. I ended up just getting two 4 packs of the Monkish collab and a 4 pk of Obilvex. Would have grabbed some more but hit Forest and Main yesterday for their bottle release. Haven't tried anything from tonight, came home and cracked an Other Half from the fridge. Seems early reviews are saying the collab needs some time in the can. We discussed that last month no need to dive back in to that topic... cheers.

Got there around 930p, still had full alottments available. Trying the Monkish now, liking it a lot.
