Tired Hands (December 2017)

We’re going away for the weekend and my wife just said “I noticed Tired Hands is only 20 min. out of the way, we should stop there.”

1. My wife is amazing (this has always been true, just reaffirming).

2. I’m hardly ever there and haven’t really tried what they have on tap. What are some of the best things there right now? (I’m planning to get a growler of Alien Church and maybe cans of Hop Hands.)

 

Try to hit both locations. Keep an eye on instagram, they have some interesting stuff on tap. Can’t go wrong with alien church.

 

1. You married well. Shame on you for not realizing your proximity to the pseudo mecca of milkshake delight.

2. Some Milk is a stout on at the Brew Cafe, it’s excellent. The Monkish collab is on tap at the Fermenteria. I’d absolutely do both, 10 min walk from one location to the other if you have never done it. Cheers and enjoy.

I definitely noticed, but my wife has been incredibly tolerant of all the beer I already bought for this weekend so I didn’t want to push it. If anything, shame on me for underestimating her awesomeness.

Looking for some help. Has Tired Hands changed their release schedule during Christmas and New Years? Have Thursday off, would like to make the trip from Central PA.

 

Who knows with them, I'd guess they will but you never really know. Hopefully they do something low key if anything. I haven't been in a while and hope they give us some high road this week.

 

Pretty sure I remember seeing there was a midweek release last year right after Christmas.

 

Just following up. We stopped at the Fermenteria on Friday and it was completely and totally packed. I’d have liked to have tried some beer there, but the line for drinks was incredibly slow (only two POS). Ended up getting growlers of Alien Church and Oblivex. Alien Church was excellent and I’m looking forward to trying Oblivex.

Hopefully we’ll be back soon and it won’t be as crowded.

 

I'm in the same boat as those posting above. I have Wednesday off this week and looking to take the trek up there from Baltimore. According to their instagram, they had a release last year between Christmas and New years. Hoping the same this year as well!

 

We should know more today.

 

You can always get cans of HopHands. And lots of great beer in bottles, too. All without having to wait in line. Just hit the general store.

 

Looks like Pineal and Refreshing tomorrow, not complaining. I guess those Holidaze cans were friends and family only.

 

Any chance for a Sunday's release this week? Thought maybe a possibility since only 2 cans tomorrow.

 

Doubtful with the short week and Sunday being New Years Eve

 

It's possible but doubtful. The Ferm already has brunch and the NYE night event scheduled for this Sunday. I'm not sure if they'd want to throw the madness of a shake release on top of that. I'd bet the next shake release will be next Sunday, Jan 7th.

 

I tucked into mannequin throne last night and I am just floored that this is still on the shelves. This is an awesome beer. I'm definitely gonna go back and get a couple more (if there's any left. I was there on Friday and bought mine) before people catch on.

 

Still a full section of the General Store for Mannequin Throne as of an hour ago.

 

Update on cans for tonight? Any chance one or both might last till open tomorrow?

 

They just updated Instagram and said it is behind the bar. Should make it through the night
