yeah that does hint at it being cherry/coffee which would be bomb sauce!

They still had the Coconut Milkshake on tap (and for growlers) when I stopped by the Fermentaria on Saturday afternoon. I had a glass and honestly wasn't in love with it, and didn't feel compelled to get a growler. It was my first TH Milkshake beer, so perhaps this is just how they taste, but I found the sweetness to be a bit much and it had an odd chemically taste to it. As others have mentioned, the coconut was pretty subtle, though came through a bit more as it warmed.

FYI - ran over at lunch, got there at 12:20p and there was no line. Got my 2 4pks and was out in less than 5 minutes. If only all releases were this easy...

Also, still had Double Coconut MS on tap.

What if there really was no "coconut" in the beer and they just wrote that in the description and they're doing an experiment to see if they can just suggest flavors and see who bites.

I definitely got coconut from the first sip. It is there, but it doesn't smack you. I really did not care for this iteration of milkshake overall though. Not bad but far from my favorite, and one I don't need again.

In case anyone was wondering, they are sold out of cans.

Did I get a different coconut milkshake than you guys? The coconut is not subtle at all, its like a pina colada, super sweet but still enjoyable

I'm gonna go with different people have different tastes. I got more coconut on the nose than on the taste. It's definitely there but not in your face and I'm ok with that

As much as this sounds good on paper, Only Void has such a thin mouthfeel that it's just not worth the time in line or 22 bucks, IMO.

while it's not super viscous i don't think it's really thin thin, like watery thin... it does lack some heft though and sometimes comes across more porter like... i'm interested in seeing what this OV tastes like but not enough to drive over/wait in line etc. Maybe a few kegs are saved for tap and when i got to pick up bottles or something they have some

Based on the last batch of HH being bad, and having carb issues with the OV Coffee cans, I'll pass on this one.

But maybe that means that for this release the beers will be 'on'?

    Do you feel lucky!?!

    Cheers!

Just opened an albino slug, it's a dense snow globe of suspended sediment, doesn't taste bad though

In case you were like me and curious about the tea, I pull this from wiki..

"Lapsang souchong's flavours include dried longan,[6] pine smoke and whiskey.[7]

Tea merchants marketing to Westerners note that this variety of tea generally produces a strong reaction, with most online reviews extremely positive or strongly negative.[citation needed]

Tea connoisseurs often note that Taiwanese lapsang souchong typically has a stronger flavour and aroma, the most extreme being tarry souchong (smoked, as the name implies, over burning pine tar).[citation needed]

It is common for even rather strongly brewed Lapsang Souchong tea to lack the bitterness common with other tea varieties."

Are we sure this isn't a collab with well known tea beer enthusiasts Broken Goblet?
