I am resigned to the fact that they aren't going away, but I like busting people's chops a little bit too.

Oh yeah, I thought the chair people should be able to take it too. Although maybe they aren't the type to sit down and take a good ole natured ribbing? They would rather fight things from the inside or move along and come back when the fighting is good (like around...4:59?).

Has anyone tried the void yet? How is it?

I'll be visiting the brewery for the first time next Friday. Just so I'm clear, if a release happens that day, I can drop a chair and leave it unattended? I mean, I am from PA so the value of a chair in a freshly shoveled parking spot is not lost on me but did not expect it to be OK for a release line.

It's ok. Tired Hands approves despite all the complaints here. They'd rather you be inside eating food and drinking beer. I fought it as well early on, now I don't care. Most times I'll go early enough to drop a chair and eat lunch but in some instances like yesterday I don't. I got there at like 4:15, hung out, filled a growler of Double Coconut Milkshake and came back to my spot in line. I was out by 5:30. Releases have gotten more relaxed I feel.

Thanks for the info. I'll bring a chair just in case. I'm hoping that my timing is on and I can grab at least a few cans to bring back home.

I think it's delicious. The tea is supposed to be a polarizing flavor but I thought it was pleasant. It still tastes primarily like Only Void has in the past and the added ingedients don't overpower the stout.

I really liked Stone's Chai Spiced RIS too and that was much more of a tea/spice bomb while this OV is subdued.

So I saw both beers made it to the bar. Must have been a pretty mild release.

Yeah I got there at 545 and it took like 15 mins. I was shocked how short the line was. Only void is one of their best beers imo.

Same here, it's one that I would not miss but since it isn't an IPA the line is very reasonable. Except for the Sunday release of Only Voids, it never brought out a huge line and it makes it to the bar.

It's crazy to me that OV releases aren't as crazy as even their middling hoppy releases. I know it's not particularly fair to compare across styles, but any of the OVs (note: I didn't have Red Wine) are up there amongst their best beers in my eyes.

Maybe the lines would get longer if they increased the hopping rates for Only Void!?!

    Cheers!

Yeah this was a pleasant surprise, left to go run errands and get home to get some sleep and took all of five minutes to buy a 4 pack behind the bar. Will try this in a couple weeks but OV in all its variants is my jam (still have a bottle of wine barrel yet to try).

OV was gone today at lunch, but they had a bunch of Hop Hands 4 packs left. I had a Double Coconut Milkshake while I was there. Sweet and boozy, not one of their best.

Is there any indication that it's released today? I know they usually release on the same day as canning; but I think Jean said in the background: "They [the township] don't like when we release on Fridays."

yeah it was audible that something not for today etc... seems odd when it was stated they don't have space to store cans.. at least members were told that months ago when asked about reserving... sure seemed like a more we could but aren't going to type answer but i'm sure they don't want the cans sticking around long bc no room in the coldbox... if not released today it would probably be tomorrow or sunday

FWIW someone commented milkshake today and TH commented no. Didn't direct the comment at the person (or anyone) but said no.

Since they're selling those bong glasses Sunday at noon I would think that's when they'll release the cans.

How did this rumor start anyway?
