Tired Hands growler fill advice?

    They also have a cask of Jittery Tiger conditioned on Madagascar vanilla beans today...sounds awesome.

    Just had 2 growlers filled with Carpathian Kitten Loss DIPA. Honestly its as good as any IPA I've ever had. A lot of citris and a really smooth finish. Just awesome!

    I thought the CKL was mighty tasty, but I wouldn't put it up in the top tier of IPA/DIPAs (hardly an expert, though).

    For 8.8%, I thought it was very light, which in my mind is kind of a nice accomplishment. On the other hand, there was a heck of a lot going on in the EYE 4A FACE for 4.5%.

    Actually completely agree with you. Just got done there. Kitten was sweet and marmalade-like. Aroma had the hop bitterness but the taste didn't. Still was good but not top tier like some of their other DIPAs. Damn good tap list right now though.

    Had this last night and again today. So, so good. Perfect cask beer made even better by the beans.

    Wow, you guys are making me thirsty!! Turns out my sister went to Tired Hands on Friday night and the beer I wanted (Pineal) was kicked!! She tried to call me to see what else I would want but I guess I was already sleeping. Bummer, saw her yesterday and said where is my growler and she said I didn't get you anything!!!
    I will see her again in 2 weeks, hoping for something special from Tired Hands then. Patience, patience my friends!:slight_smile:

    Next time you should go to the website and view the entire tap list and construct an itemized list of which beers you would like a growler of.

    Grower fills? The secret is the majic man, make sure you get him..... And ask him to make the hissing sound, if he does not use the hissing sound, your beer will be flat and undrinkable. ... Do not let anyone else fill your growler....
