I had HopHands at Tria on Sunday (it was only 3.50 for 16oz on special!) and it tasted very good. Maaaaaaybe it was juicier/more tropical in the past, I dunno, it was the first ever TH beer I ever tasted and it made a big first impression then.

The July 2016 pint I had though was solid, if I could buy it all the time I would.

tiredhandsbrewingTomorrow at 5:00pm at our @fermentaria, we will be releasing cans of Pinch off the Dead Parts and Senseless & Scentless! Pinch off the Dead Parts is an IPA that was brewed in tandem with our great friend, Brad Clark, from @jackieosbrewery. Brewed with oats and wheat. Spiced with lemon balm and fresh green coriander from Jean's farm. Hopped intensely with Mosaic, Cascade, Motueka, and Centennial. 6.66% abv. Senseless & Scentless is an IPA brewed to honor our favorite house jazz musician/human being, @mikelorenzmusic! Brewed with oats and a touch of Munich malt. Hopped intensely with Equinox and Mosiac. 5.1% abv. Both beers will be $16/four pack. Allotments will be announced ASAP tomorrow! #dream beer

Curious how the 97 degree heat will affect the line. Chairs as far as the eye can see...

Didn't change anything for the gatherer release. People got there early, some hung out in line and waited, others dropped a chair and weren't to be found again until just before 5.

Maybe it will be chairs with umbrellas this time!?!

    Cheers!

Neither of these sound particularly appealing and certainly not worthy of baking outside in the heat.

It's too bad TH doesn't have some sort of online pre-order system for their releases, like Three's does. I'm going to their can release in Brooklyn on Saturday. Cans already reserved and paid for, just need to get there by 5pm to pick them up.

I'd shell out for all of TH's releases if they switched to a similar system.

These cans for tomorrow sound good to me and the last two weird collab IPA's were great.

I'm even more interested in getting a glass and maybe growler of the coffee+cocao nibs DIPA at the brewcafe too.

Personally, I haven't seen it for sale in Pennsylvania before. It seems to be readily available on shelves in other parts of the country though.

Me neither, but I keep hearing it's for sale in Philly in random places. Would love to get my hands on some bottles, but who knows what they are up-charging for them!

    I just checked. 17.99 for a 12oz. Disgusting.

Coffee DIPA/Vanilla Porter Black and Tan/Half and Half looks cool

I agree. I've only had BOMB once and it was in San Francisco where the bottles were easy to find at ~$10 iirc.

Birthday bomb has a $10 price tag, but I think regular bomb is in the $7 to $8 range out here. Might be a bit higher in SF, depending where you go, but nothing like the $18 a pop Streaky is looking at.

$18 is about what a 375ml bottle of Supplication goes for in the Philly area as well.

Anyone else weary of an IPA with cilantro in it? Feel like it could go either way good or bad.

I don't know if it had cilantro in it but TacoHands was surprisingly drinkable.

Nice. Should be a pretty comfortable release, assuming that a cilantro IPA and 5%abv IPA don't have the same draw that a mango milkshake does.

Where are people seeing cilantro? I don't see that in the description.
