Tired Hands (July 2017)

310 allotments is very small for these guys. There were more than that (err, chairs) on line at 2pm last week for the milkshake.

 

They did a really good coffee/vanilla/lactose one called Today is Going to be a Good Day (or maybe Today Will be a Good Day or something like that).

 

I just noticed that the bottle of Shambolic I bought at the general store about 2 weeks ago has a barcode on it. I never noticed a barcode on a Tired Hands product before (I don't have any cans handy to check if that's correct, but I don't see one on any other bottles, including an Ourison I bought at the same time).

I know they hinted at some of their beers possibly being available "elsewhere" or "beyond" at some point recently. Anyone think this barcode is an indicating that Shambolic may eventually see some sort of distro or availability outside of the 3 TH spots?

 

Any guesses on Wednesday's release?

 

The Bottle Room in Downingtown sells some Tired Hands bottles. I know I've seen Sticky Drippy Crystals and pretty sure they have sold Shambolic as well.

Hard to tell from their Instagram post this morning. As usual, clarity isn't their strong suit lol.
On another note, I would LOVE it if they tried canning MagoTago again sometime soon.

 

I think MagoGate pretty much killed the chance of that can coming out in its old branding/recipe. Maybe the MagoMagoTagoTago or Paper Mansion.

 

Ohh interesting. I wasn't aware that Tired Hands stuff was available anywhere other than on location (other than draft of course).

 

As far as I know, they haven't allowed other people to sell bottles/cans.... wouldn't be surprised if that was grey market selling.

 

Apparently the owners of Bottle Room/ Station Tap Room have a good relationship with Tired Hands. Bottle Room is the only authorized off-site dealer, nothing grey market about it.

 

I stand corrected - I knew they were tight with station taproom, didn't realize they did any bottle distribution.

 

Wouldn't be surprised to start seeing bottles out at shops. Didn't they post a vague hint not too long ago about that?

CSA update

Week 1. HopHands

Week 3. Trendler Pilsner

 

Also my wife and I have been very pleased with the amount of things the csa has provided, a lot of the same stuff so far but in great quantities and the fruits and veggies have been super fresh and the cheeses all interesting.

 

I wonder if the next release is going to be next solar cycle or if its just Thursdays from now on...
