Interesting idea - A win for Tired Hands to get people into the General Store on non-can days and a win for people who are looking to try some bottles without making the full investment on something they may not have previously.

Moving to a winery model with the surplus of bottles.

I appreciate it. Having been burned paying +$20 for under carbonated bottles, I am more likely to purchase again if I can taste first.

The line was brutal because of the heat but once the chairs collapsed it was to the funeral home on Athens. Within the hour it was 1.5 blocks long. Easy peasey.

Did you get caught in the rain?

Hoping Tepache makes it till tomorrow and I don't have to wait in a big line before opening.

One case per person per day of Pineal makes it seem like they have plenty. In reality all I want is Hop Hands right now in this heat

Won’t happen. 8pm 50 cases left that’s only 100 allotments. It won’t make it past tonight IMO.

    Thankfully no.

The crushable strawberry shake is the biggest disappointment from Hands that I’ve had in long long time. It just tastes so thin and bland, and the strawberry taste just seems off to me.

The Tepache reminds me of a pineapple Trapper Pie. It’s good.

Don’t really see the point of a session milkshake. But the Tepache sounded great. Feel bad for those that got caught up in the storm, was supposed to be nasty.

Has anyone had Dr. Komondor? Just opened my crowler of it... and it really tastes like nothing but a tiny bit of tartness

Yep. I thought the Pilsner malt really smoothed out the edges. Nowhere near as tart or fruity as most Berliners sold these days. It grew on me more as I drank it. (The cacao fruit isn't really supposed to taste like chocolate, btw. I got a light floral element in the taste; that's about it.)

15 cases left for opening. Yeah I'll skip out on lining up tomorrow and enjoy the 4th.

Can anyone advise on what it's like the next day when cans are left? Thinking about making the trip up from MD. Is it still line life at the front door or more like people chilling in their cars?

Depending on the beer there usually is a line. Im assuming there will be with the one remaining shake.

Wow that’s shocking, really. A shake till Thursday? Last time that happened was the Ramos Gin Fizz which was a weird shake.

PS. The Ramos Gin Fizz Shake is drinking awesomely, had one last night. Very tasty.

And yes, there will be a line this morning. If you really want them I’d get in line at 11. Seriously.

I got basically no taste at all from it. Finished the crowler, was kind of weird.

Got there at 11:30 today and was maybe tenth in line. Looks like they still had a case or two of Tepeche when I left at 1:00. Don't know if they low balled the amounts from this morning or most people didn't max out but I swear close to 100 people left with cans.

But did you CRUSH IT, or just drink it normally?

Had it on tap at the Brew Café on Thursday and thought it was great. Half the lactose and double the fruit...tasted like just-barely-underripe strawberries to me.
