Thanks for letting me know about those comments, funny how much people lost their shit for something Tired Hands had no control over!

I agree, they were pretty entertaining to read through.

As a trader, I disagree with this completely. I can't speak for all traders, but I know when I trade I'm not looking for something higher in value. I'm just looking for something equal or close to value that I have never had before (or on occasion something I've had before and really like but can't get in my region). In fact these days it seems I'm taking lesser value more often than not (if you go by rating) just because it's getting harder to find stuff I haven't had. The scalper comparison is unfair because scalpers are there for one reason and one reason only - to turn a profit. Beer traders are just looking for an even trade that benefits both sides. Some of the traders I've dealt with are some of the most generous people I've met.

Anyone know if there's any Ourison on the shelf now?

I can't say for sure but I'd be surprised if there wasn't. I don't think I've ever been there when they didn't have any Ourison. They really pump that stuff out.

God, I hate to be that guy. But with the re-do today I find myself the opportunity to actually make one of these can releases. I usually have to go though my brother who's local and lives in PA. But this time I might do the needful and hook him up instead being he can't get time off today and I happen to be home off with nothing to do.

What's a good time to show up to a can release like this? And yes, I'm used to very long beer lines, so no worries there. Anyone can help me out with some insight? Thanks!

To absolutely guarantee getting some I would get there at 4pm - I think that is the sweet spot of not having to wait a super long time and all but guaranteeing getting some. Sure, you could probably get there at 5pm and still make it but why risk the long drive over an extra hour wait? Also keep in mind the yields are a bit lower this time.

I would be shocked if these cans didn't last into the evening (past 7)

While I do think it might make it to 7pm, keep in mind the yields this time are 310 total cases versus 370 last week, not to mention higher allotments. But I would also be surprised if at least the American Youth didn't make it to 7pm.

Finally a week where I can buy a 4-pack of each, come home, and then determine if I want to buy more!

Got there around 6:30, no line at all. I wish this were every release. I wouldn't be surprised if American youth lasting until the weekend. High road may sell out tonight.

Really liking the high road, this is the first time I've had. Does it remind anyone else of hopslam a little bit or am I am idiot?

I agree and I think it has a similar sweetness to Hopslam.

I complained about the cans of High Road that I got from the first canning because they were flat when I opened them but I had a fresh can tonight and the carbonation is normal this time and the beer is delicious. I think it's very distinct from Punge or the other DIPA's and it is not as turbid as Punge and most of their IPA's either.
