Good lord. Some people must just enjoy waiting in line and/or have nothing better to do. Did they announce the allotments?

Hahaha, god is it entertaining. If it was me I would have a surprise allotment day, just for the heck of it to watch people lose their minds. I don't understand lines or waiting either. Ya'll enjoy your lines..I'll be there round 5:30, wait 20min probably

@corew : every day is surprise allotment day. i checked insta after reading jojo's post, and the amount of people yelling about the allotments.... at least one of them is on tap, try before buy. i don't know if it's the same guy everyone talks about at every release, but the last 2 i went to there was a guy ahead of me yelling about how TH screws him over by switching the allotments during the release and how bullshit it was. must have been a while ago because i don't recall that from any that i have been to. today with milkshake might be a different case

There are always people there like 5 hours early. They're unemployed or choosing it as a place to chat with friends for the day, that's what they want to do but it doesn't mean you need to be there that early to buy beer.

Last time they changed allotments for milkshake they INcreased the allotment. Some people like to bitch though.

What's the story on leaving a chair? Do people just leave a chair and come back? How does no one just take that chair out of the line?

Because people are too meek to stand up for themselves and kick that person to the back of the line.

maybe because it's not that big of a deal? If someone goes home that's one thing but if they're going inside for a bit who cares. Most people on line are genuinely cool and don't care. Does moving up that one more person really mean that much to people. You start kicking them out then what's next? You can't go to the bathroom, you can't feed the meter? people need to chill

yep, I don't have any love for people who just plop their chairs down and leave, but I think this is the reason people don't boot the chairs.

The kumbaya/friendly attitude is great for most people but there are a few that take advantage of that goodwill and meekness and their abuse makes it harder for honest people to stand in line to buy beer.

Feeding a meter or going to the bathroom is fine totally fine, of course.

edit: I want to clarify that this is tongue-in-cheek. I think there are real reasons to criticize the chair users though.

I really wish they would. It makes no sense not to.

I understand leaving it there to go to the bathroom, or refill a meter but the whole point of getting in a line is that you are willing to wait there. If I wanted could I have driven a chair down there at 8am before work? comeon now
