That four pack gonna cost a lot more than $22 after the interest is added to the student loans at payoff time, right. LMAO.

My final thoughts on the topic:

Leave your chair to pay the meter: OK
Leave your chair to use the bathroom: OK
Leave your chair to grab lunch: OK
Leave your chair to eat in the Ferm: OK
Leave your chair to drink in the Ferm: OK
Leave your chair to go to work, go run errands, watch TV, etc., etc.: Not OK

    This isn't rocket science.

My point is that since I feel most people don't take advantage of the situation, this entire conversation is like so many others in craft beer, people being upset just to be upset, or because things aren't going their way, or people aren't behaving the way they would. We're all adults here. Don't be a dick, and if you see someone being a dick, call them on it. That's really your only option, because it isn't Tired Hands' responsibility to police the line. I'm not sure it'd even crack the top 1 million concerns of people operating a small business, and that's ignoring the fact that the brewery WANTS me to go inside for a burger and a beer because it only increases their revenues.

Ive been going to TH for years... Nobody has EVER had a problem with chairs until recently.. Chairs aren't going away so people can accept it or just not go. Simple as that.

You're entitled to your opinion. I'm of the opinion that if you raise a stink about someone in front of you eating lunch in the brewery you're at, when you're clearly close enough to the front of the line that said person is in no way going to keep you from your allotment, you have lost sight of the fact that this whole beer thing is supposed to be fun, not a contest to see who can stay attached to a chair the longest. You don't win anything for sitting for five hours.

Thanks for letting me know I can have an opinion, i do appreciate that. That's cool that it's supposed to be fun and not a contest, so why are people lining up before the cans are released if it's not a contest? What would be really super fun is a random lottery so it didn't matter if you got there at 6am or just before the release. THAT would be fun. Maybe even make everyone spin a wheel when they get up to the front of the line that determines whether they get an allotment or have to go back to the end of the line for another spin. Now we're talking fun!

Like I said before, the people with the most to say about the chairs are those that are unlikely to attend a release anyway, because they're upset they'd have to wait on line to get beer...

Ohhhhhh myyyy gaaaaawwwwd!! Beeeeeer! I can't live without it!! It's beer people, chill out. No I'm not a chair person but it's not going to ruin my day if I don't get any. There are more important things in life.

So are chairs the only acceptable form of line holding or are other objects allowed...was thinking of leaving a garden gnome

ok or not, you can't know where everyone is going, nor should you. so copping is just dumb. it doesn't behoove too many to call people out when you have to stand with them in line for an hour or more. so if that's the case you either got to forget it or skip it.

i like that both beers are on tap to try this time.

it's a lot cheaper to hire a mule who only has to put a chair (or two) in line at noon.

next up TH logoed folding chairs.

Well back in whatever decade you went to college a CD was most likely $20. Thanks to the internet that's not the case. Although my only experience with a college student drinking Tired Hands was a girl sitting next to the me at the Opening Day of the Fermenteria. She was in college and drove up from Delaware. She also took home a couple of growlers. Also full disclosure I was unemployed when I went to the opening.

I've been talking trash on chairs since their first mention.

I don't have time to stand in line and wait but god forbid I do one of these days and there is a bunch of chairs I will move them to the side.

You have to be a pretty big idiot to risk other people's lives because you need to have more than 2-3 beers at a bar and then feel the need to drive home.
