Tired Hands (June 2018)

I wasn't implying that age was or was not a factor; I was saying that because it was brewed so long ago it surely isn't the best indicator of Tired Hands's current state... right?

 

None of the Para's really blew me away.

I'll have to get by to try the Toms' Hand and Sticky Drippy Crystals is good as is Prayer Group and of course Ourison.

 

Had my last double Pina Colada last night...probably my least favorite shake. It was better than it was fresh but still had a harsh aftertaste with little to no pina colada flavor. Anyone else have that one?

 

I thought it was fine but I only had one from a friend and close to release time.

Another Thursday drop this week? Would be nice if more cans started lasting into the weekend.

 

I have one left. I thought it didn't have much if any pina coloda flavor. Yeah, not a fav of mine.

 

Yeah, really didn't like it. Especially for the price. Extra Vanilla is great though!

 

im still enjoying the ramos gin fizz milkshakes. very different take compared to the normal fruited ones

 

Totally, I have 2 of those left too. A very different take, but I liked them.

 

My brother is leaving for philadelpha tomorrow, looks like no can release this week? Is the fermentaria the best place for draft/hop hands cans?

 

Cans can be acquired at the general store. Both the Ferm/Café should have hop hands on draft.

Any other places (beer bars, bottle shops, breweries) that he should hit up, especially for NEIPA cans or crowlers he can bring back?

 

Check out the Beer Yard in Wayne, PA. They have had a pretty good stock lately of stuff you may be looking for.

 

Im assuming he is just staying in the city. If he wants to venture outside I love Free Will, Hidden River, Imprint Brewing (Usually Saturday crowler releases), and Forest & Main.

 

Friday release? Don't think they've ever skipped a week.

 

I wouldn't expect a can release this week. Word is that canning machine is being fixed, will be up and running next week. There were ladders in the area at the Ferm.

 

If he's going to be over at Tired Hands, Ardmore Beer Shoppe is right down the street. They have an extensive cooler section, and a full service bar that does growlers.

 

I will be coming up from Georgia and in town for one day, Wednesday, Aug. 1. Do they only do Thursday releases now? Seems like Wednesday can release posts in this thread have become scarce.

 

It’s a complete crap-shoot lately. Weds used to be a reliable bet, but Thurs is just as likely these days. No matter what you’ll be able to get Hop Hands cans at least.
