Hello! It looks like I'll be visiting Tired Hands on Tuesday for lunch! I'm going to the Slayer concert in Reading on Monday night and I plan on heading to Tired Hands for lunch the next day, and picking up some beer to go. My main concern is parking. I realize all of the parking lots nearby are pay-to-park, but I want to make sure I can pay for 2 or 3 hours of time. I'm going to eat and have a few beers, and then visit the general store. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? How much does it cost to park? And can one pay for several hours at a time? Also, due to time constraints, I'll probably only drink/eat at one of their locations--probably the Fermentaria due to the bigger menu and the fact that they often have beer to-go behind the bar. Since I'm driving alone I won't be able to drink much on location, so I want to be able to buy as many cans and bottles to-go as I can.
I'm really excited about my future haul, as Tired Hands' anniversary releases this weekend are insane! And there might be some leftovers by Tuesday.

Thinking of going tomorrow and I imagine it'll be a shitshow. Reccomendations for parking?

Parking at the Ferm on Tuesday is easy. Bring quarters and it's like $1 - $2 for 2 hours of parking. The lot is pretty big as well.

Two completely different beers so it’s kind of apples and oranges but yea I’m with , ones 3-3.5% higher than the other. I can’t tell you the last time I had a beer higher than 6%. Follow the gull is about as perfect as a hoppy beer can be, hop hands serves the same purpose too. Hoppy drinkable goodness.

If you believe the Instagram crowd researchers, about 750 in line.

The line is almost to Linwood. Doubt it’s 750 but at least 300-400.

Come find @thebeers @larryi86 and I in line! I’m wearing a Burley Oak hoodie. Arthur @thebeers is wearing an Eagles hat and is probably the tallest person in line. We’re close to the current end of the line, just past the church-looking building on St Pauls.

Was at the Booker T concert across the street last night. I usually spend set breaks at the café, but friends who tried to get in said it was a shit show so I passed.

Surprisingly line hasn't grown all that much since 9am. Really hope they have at least 5 registers going with 7 different beers.

Sounds long, but totally worth it. Just in pure resale value I'd gladly wait twice that long.

While I’m sure there will be lengthy discussions in time about the size of the line, tasting notes of the beers, the amount of DDH orange juice cans produced, time spent waiting, what is considered DDH for a juice that is typically not dry hopped in the first place, etc. but it is worth noting that the yield and allotments were made to the point that as of 3PM there is still a significant amount of beer available. I’m sure I’ll have more thoughts on the weekend as a whole but all and all, a great birth day weekend for Tired Hands.

Pretty good day. Arrived at 6:45am and was 325th in line :astonished:. Took us about an hour and a half to get through line but got full allotments. They really need to consider a ticket/wiristband system.. so much fucking line cutting it was unreal.
