Ryan and Dan are doing a great job at the Café..the beer that has been on tap since Ryan came on board a few months ago has been some of my favorite Café beer in a long time.

This thread makes me wonder where anyone goes and has a great time with no hiccups. What is perfection for you guys?

That's just the thing though I still go haha. I do need to start branching out more but Tired Hands has their hooks in deep man. Do you want quartered lime wedges and a kiwi brett saison? Hells yes I want to go try stuff. Time to do such things is at such a premium that I usually end up heading there because of the random things that I want to try over somewhere that has your standard beers on tap.

A beer brand that tastes the same batch after batch and with no technical brewing flaws (i.e., no buttery flavors from excess diacetyl).

I really do not think that is too much to ask. My other local brewpubs (e.g., Iron Hill (multiple locations), Rock Bottom, ...) are able to do this. Tired Hands for years (prior to opening the Fementaria) was able to do this as well.

    Cheers!

Long story short we were blatantly ignored over other customers. Felt like we were not welcome having our two year old there and just in general treated very coldly. Normally we would have gone to the ferm with him but my wife was in the mood for the cafe food (and given to pregnancy cravings at the time). I do realize that out of the three of us I was the only one drinking but I really felt disrespected especially in front of my wife. I felt bad dragging her through this bad experience and was just embarrassed. I was very close to writing an email or review or something but it was an isolated incident and I generally have had good experiences but while I can take being mistreated on my own (though shouldn't have to) you better keep it in check with my family. That and there was a table next to us with a couple of kids who were given preferential treatment the whole time, in fact everyone upstairs was. The whole thing was bizarre honestly.

Really curious how this week is going to unfold regarding the multiple releases. If anyone is at the ferm today around noon, could you chime in to say whether or not they're canning? Part of me wonders if they might really "shake" things up and do a day-of release announcement today. Would make sense if that happened, since I offered to work a couple additional hours today so I could get there early tomorrow if they released then.

Usually they would have posted about a release today by now if there was one. From what I read Ardmore does not like them having releases on Fridays and add St Patrick's Day onto that I don't think that would be wise either. I suspect a Milkshake and/or that Imperial Stout on Sunday to go along with the Heavy Gem release.

I'm also starting to think that Sunday might be the day for all these releases.

If they don't do it by Friday, wouldn't this be the first week they didn't do a can release during the week since they started canning?

I don't think I can buy into a Sunday release for everything. I don't think they would want to cloud the first release of this Half Acre collab project with the release of quite possibly one of their most popular style beers at the moment. Not only that, the line would be astronomical. If they thought the area hated them for Friday's, well they'll hate them for Sunday's now too. Just my 2 cents

Good point. I suspect that the snow messed up the release plans for this week. But would they just let beer that was set to be canned sit in the tanks for another week?

That's another great point. I'm starting to wonder if maybe they'll do a back to back Saturday and Sunday deal too. This still clouds the release of the new project beer with Half Acre. If folks go out Saturday and spend $120+ on shakes and some stout, do they really think they want to trot back out Sunday and spend another $80-$100? Yea, sure..the diehards will always be there... but mass majority? I dunno.
How great it would be if they just communicated to their customer base, not just post vague pictures with silly hashtags.

"Beer. Tastes like hop hands and daisy cutter.. maybe a little bit of alien church. It's expensive, but you should buy anyways." Can someone confirm I didn't miss anything?
