Is this the longest that a non-lager Tired Hands can released beer has lasted?

    Cheers!

P.S. Has anybody reported on how the Blonde tastes?

Sunday releases looks like a great step in the right direction for TH!

In an unrelated note, does anyone know what's up with the Individuation series? From my understanding it's a way for them to make sense of their growing barrel library, i guess this is the dispensary in action? The wording on the bottles trips me up, not sure if it's meant to be more an experiment with blending in general or a just blend of a few similar barrels. Thanks!

Had no idea it was going to be a series? I thought it was just a one off bottle and on to the next endeavor?

Wasn't sure how a hoppy blonde with lemon would be but I thought it was a very good beer. It's the perfect summer beer. A bit upset now I only bought one 4 pack. Hope they can this one again come July/August.

Completely agree, that's what I want this summer for sure.

All I can tell you is that it's a wonderful beer. If it's not labled IPA it must suck....right? Thus the amount still behind the bar. Anyway, I like it a lot.

One of my favorite canned Tired Hands beers is Trendler Alt. I am willing to bet that I am the only person who has posted that on a Tired Hands thread!?!:astonished:

    Cheers!

Thats how I feel about Trendler Pils, just so pricey for a pils though I hope its appropriately priced based on what they spent to make it.

I am personally not a fan of past brewed Trendler Pils beers (they intimated their most recent batch was 'better'):
    • I personally pick up a herbaceous flavor in that beer (almost like green pepper) that is unpleasant for me.
    • It is not priced competitively with the other high quality Pilsners in the area (e.g., Sly Fox, Stoudts, Neshaminy Creek,...)
In contrast I think that Trendler Alt is very worthwhile on two fronts:
    • I greatly enjoy the flavor profile of this beer.
    • The Altbier style is not commonly available so IMO you gotta get it while you can.
    Cheers!

I am hoping that Orange Alien Church is a lot better than the BuiceJox I had the other day. I do generally trust Tired Hands a lot more than Sole but wow that beer like stuck to the palate. Excited about Severed Goddess Hand though, their straight doubles have been great.

Ingredients are usually only 20% in the cost of a beer. There should be more time in the tanks for the Pils which would transfer to the cost, but otherwise you are mainly paying for labor, energy, packaging, taxes and "distribution". I doubt there is $10 more ingredients in a 4pk of milkshake over Hop Hands. I think the $24 4 packs are based on demand and adding in for loss of beer while producing it.

Have you ever had Victory's Altbier? I find that one top notch. I'm not sure if it's a usual offering but it's been on tap for more than a month now.

Yes I have and I do enjoy drinking that beer.

While we are on the topic I much prefer Victory's Ten Year Alt which they first brewed for their ten year anniversary. They brewed this beer again last year as part of their 20th Anniversary celebrations. I really wish that Victory Ten Year Alt was brewed more frequently.

    Cheers!

I had Sole GoodGood recently and felt the same way about that one. And supposedly that one doesn't have any added fruit. It was like drinking straight up Tang.

Tired Hands really breaks out the thesaurus when they write up these descriptions.

    "Luscious Double IPA"
    "Divinely hopped"
    "drippy papaya"
    "precious American Pale Ale"
    "Sacrilegiously pungent"

I had a very small sample pour of GoodGood at Capone's this past weekend. I told Matt that the this beer reminded me of a creamsicle. I enjoyed drinking that small pour. I hope to be able to obtain a full glass someday to see if I would enjoy drinking a whole glass (12-16 ounces) of this beer.

    Did you enjoy this beer?

    Cheers!

I have done Tired Hands for Sole multiple times and each time after felt like I was getting the raw end of the deal. The hype plus the similar ingredients and having a good one every now and then keeps me coming back to at least keep trying them. Good Good was probably the best I've had from them and still thought it wasn't really any better than Tired Hands.
