As has been stated, OV is a little thin as always. Great flavors, but I just wish there was more in the mouthfeel department. Which Will is still pretty green - I can't tell if it will be great or just good once the peach and vanilla can shine through the hops. The star of the release for me is the DDH Pineal. Maybe one of the best beers I've had from them in awhile. I'm sure I will be in the minority with that opinion, but oh well.

    Cheers.

OV has never been as good or priced like shelf imperial/coffee stouts. It costs more and doesn't taste as good. But people still go ape shit over it. Why stop at half, when you can go full'****.

I'll be down there tonight at the café between sets at the music hall. Hopefully some of the schwarzbier cans are left.

I think they mean the glasses are 4 for $40

But honestly the glassware market is kinda nuts too so $40 for all 4 could be a steal as well.

    Winter sounds phenomenal.

By the way, does anyone know when they got rid of the concrete egg? There's something else in its spot now. Doesn't seem like it took that long for them to figure out that the concrete beers tasted like crap.

Just saw it was gone the other day. Probably moved it to the dispensary. I had a beer that was blended with the egg beer and that was alright, but for the most part they weren’t good. Way to much sulfur for me.

Yeah, really only winter interests me. Plus those glasses are just glorified wine glasses, they look like Spiegelau which I think run like $5 a glass with no logo or anything.

glass design at least is something outside the norm but i'll pass... beer looks interesting enough and at $70 for the set i'd be interested to tick them

    Thanks for reporting that.

I drank my last can of Schwarzbier a few days ago. That beer was canned on 1/31/18. I wonder if this beer was the longest lasting of the Tired Hands canned beers?

    Cheers!

"I'm not getting enough ice cream sandwich in this beer" is an extremely odd thought to have, but here we are.

If I had cans of it, I would sit on a few for a few months. A lot of the milkshake beers they do seem to really shine down the road. Not always, but interesting if nothing else.

Yup, that's what I'm doing. I have one every week or so since I got a decent allotment of them. It's a solid beer nontheless.

Cracked a Double Tangerine Dream this weekend and it had tons of sediment and tasted kinda flat/boozy. Guess it didn't age as well as other milkshakes.

Anyone have any thoughts on how long hop hands would be good for? I know it’s probably best fresh but has anyone had experience with a can 4-5 weeks old?
