Two nice things I will add:
    -Acid Raindrops was surprisingly good
-Lower allotments today was the best call they've made in a while (besides having more beer)

Looove those low allotments. Acid Raindrops was real good and today's "strange IPA" is interesting and good too.

I agree with the sentiment that TH gives off bad vibes. They make some very good beers though so that's what I'm there for and that's more important to me.

Imo all of Tired Hands "bad vibes" exist on the internet. I have had nothing but great experiences going there and drinking their beer.

They're very hit or miss for me, and if it was just me, I'd be getting 1 pk after waiting it out, or just trying it on draft when available. After 20 minutes in line, I figured out there would be more if I came back, no need to wait. I think beer trading fuels a lot of this & the desperation everyone seems to have. I don't trade much, and would never "pre-trade" nor did I even realize this was so common until trying to get rid of the packs I had left last week, very first time getting the full shebang. It's beer. It will be drank. I just think these kind of things will eventually make communities less welcoming to having breweries in their towns

    Or more welcoming.

I generally think the TH staff are nice, not at all arrogant the way some people say. I sometimes wonder if people get that vibe because of deficiencies with the way they are interacting with the staff. I've always found them attentive and helpful, even during crazy times.

However I also agree that the releases are handled poorly, something I've complained about several times. It seems like a little bit of planning and a couple of extra hands on deck would make everything run so much more smoothly. On this count at least, the attitude does seem to be, "well we sell them out every time so why bother?" I mean, I get it - if I stay away because of the hassle, someone else will show up to buy the beer. So making it run better for my benefit doesn't really help TH in any way - in the short run. In the long run, though, it hurts business to turn people off like that. Something they ought to consider.

Never had any problems with staff or people in the lines as of yet. I think most of these issues people are complaining about will be resolved once they have their third location built and the distribution levels increase. I don't think the problems or complaints they have experienced are big enough to warrant action (in their mind), hence why we havent seen any real changes.

Yeah I haven't seen anyone complain about the employees or staff. I've always found the staff to be fine (some better and friendlier than others like in any bar/restaurant).

Do you have any details you can share here? Where and when will a "third location" be "built"?

    Cheers!

Jack, the only thing I had seen posted was this Instagram post:

"In an undisclosed location... More space for oak, cans, and an employee-only arcade. #dispensary"

I am aware of that location. It is just a storage place which is useful for things like oak aging and perhaps storing ingredients for brewing. IMO that specific location will not do too much to solve the issues being discussed here.

    Cheers!

It should help the production/distribution issues by freeing up more floor space at the Fermentaria for fermenters. Thereby increasing capacity.

Yes, if Jean decides to invest and install additional fermenters that would indeed help. Do you have details you can share here? Has Jean announced that he was going to purchase more fermenters?

    Cheers!

I thought he mentioned the third location in that interview linked a few pages back...cant remember what the context was but certainly a third location - regardless of its specific purpose - has one overall purpose - expansion. Tired Hands is expanding operations and that means more distribution. period. Until Jean and Co announce what the specifics are, we can only speculate. My personal opinion is that this location will be used for distribution closer towards Philadelphia proper

What's the other thing Tired Hands does well? Bread.

What's the current trend in expansion of local breweries? Philadelphia.

What pairs really well with beer and isn't on the Ferm or Cafe menus? Pizza.

    I'm predicting a pizzeria/bar in the city.

    I agree with @swiftmcvey
Pure speculation. But it makes logical sense. Why would you create additional space on the brewery floor and then not make that space revenue generating?

We already know the 3rd location is not in the city and is not a public space. Although they moved the old bread oven to the new space.....

I agree that you are utilizing "pure speculation" here. I have zero purview into Jean's financial books so I prefer to not speculate.

FWIW I am sympathetic to your speculation because as a consumer of Tired Hands beers I want MOAR!!

    Cheers!
