Tired Hands (May 2017)

I drank my last 2X Vanilla 2 weeks ago and while still awesome, I thought the booze was starting to come through a bit more.

 

Yes, hence the chairs.

So, I take it the Township changed their minds about eliminating the chair line?

i was being facetious. it is moreso about the people who ARE there with every release from every brewery in the last 90 days rattled off. I am definitely part of that problem, but if it is really down to the Crossfit place by 2:30 thats a problem lol.

Line is past School Lane, down to where Cricket splits off into 2 streets. Gotta be the longest the line has been since the reroute. Hard to compare against the old parking lot winding line but guessing its comparable.

 

Yeah this line is impressively massive.

 

640 for the shake
630 for the ov
465 for the new ipa

shake probably still makes it to somewhere close to 7 pm but i'd imagine if you don't get in line by 5:30 your SOL

only going to get worse once schools out and teachers can hit the line life

 

That's a good idea. I'm in.

 

In line at 4:20, beer in hand at 6:25. Got one of the last few packs of the new ipa, but there's a whole lot of shake and OV left.

 

Everything sold out around 7:30. That's nuts.

 

I was up near the front and got my cans around 5:25. There were many, many people getting full allotments - and double full allotments if you counted their super obvious mules.

 

Only Void is on point. Coffee crazy.

Was in line at 2:30 almost to the end of Athens, out the door at 6:00. Tons of people behind me in line and I knew some of them were going to get shut out of at least one beer.

This was the first time I actually did the line thing. Usually my buddies hook me up or I get lucky at the bar. Was boring until people actually got to their chairs and I had people to talk to. Didn't do the chair drop thing, just sat and read a book.

Worth 4+ hours of my time? Probably. I really like Tired Hands beer.

 

This was a really crazy release. Turnout was impressive. The beer nuts can really mobilize.

 

New beer, Shake, and Only Void. Perfect storm really.
