Don't forget decent weather. It really was a perfect storm.

The coffee only void is amazing and the vanilla shake is one of my favorites!

New ipa is pretty good too. I wonder what time you had to be in line by to get anything?

I was in line by 5:40pm and missed out on New Horizons by about 5 people. after that there was still a good amount of Shakes a little bit of OV.

First time having Extra Vanilla and man this thing is killer as it warmed up a bit. Lots of vanilla coming in on the back-end. And Only Void is just a cold brew coffee bomb. I cannot believe this is 12% ABV. Did not get to try New Horizons.

Yeah it seems getting in line at 5pm is the sweet spot to safely get full allotment with the least amount of standing in line like an idiot.

I thought COV was a bit thin (I think that about OV in general, tho), but man, I agree - this thing is a cold brew coffee bomb with a hint of sweetness, and no traces of booze. It goes down way too easy.

Anyone try to do a Black and Tan with the void and milkshake? Only curious because Tired Hands had posted it earlier in the week.

Also - rumor is that they are ramping up bottle production at the dispensary and will be putting at a lot more bottles in the near future. 5 new bottles June 3rd alone.

I was thinking about it but I don't want to waste a void, I only have 3 left lol.

I am conflicted as well, but feel the need to try for science. Maybe this weekend....

I did not do a full 8 oz + 8 oz, but while we were drinking them last night I did do maybe 1-1.5 oz + 1-1.5 oz. There was a bit left of Extra Vanilla in my glass and went straight in with some Only Void. Tasted quite nice, but I certainly know I didn't get the same effect as if I would have consumed 16 total blended ounces.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but we are passing through next Tuesday. What day do they do cans (if regular at all)?

Usually Wednesday, but on Holiday weeks, Thursday releases

Usually Wednesday. Sometimes Thursday and/or Sunday. There is probably a 0% chance of getting cans on a Tuesday unless they can a lager or pilsner the week before.

In the interest of science the wife and I have just poured two black and tans. My initial hypothesis was that the coffee from Only Void would seriously overpower the mixture. However, what we have found is that a good bit of the hops characteristics break through, which makes for a really fun drink. Don't get me wrong, this is still coffee forward, but you can tell the Extra Vanilla is there if you've had it before.

As a side note, apparently I have no idea how to pour a black and tan. I poured the stout over a spoon but I guess there was no stopping the Void from taking over the entire glass. Oh well!

    Cheers!

I've done a black & tan of regular Only Void and the Coconut Double Milkshake. I'm sure my pouring wasn't proper or scientific (poured both cans into a glass at the same time) but it was pretty damn tasty.

I still have a can of each, was planning to do it again very soon.....

You would need a Nitro Only Void for that to work.

I think you would have to pour the void first right? Maybe not..

A black and tan works because Guinness is on nitro. Nitrogen is lighter than carbon dioxide making Guinness less dense and allowing it to float on Bass. The bottom beer doesn't matter as long as the top beer is on beer gas and the same temperature as the bottom beer.
