Space Needle was OK, nothing wrong with it per say but Alien Church tasted better from cans last week. I get that it cost more and has some "hype" around it but I would hate to see people trade good beers for an OK one with hype like space needle.

^^^ thats my take on Space needle as well... all I got was melon, some peach and throat burning. I had to find myself a lozenge after... my 2 cents....

    Hey Ya'll, newb question here:

Ive been to a few OH can releases, and got word from the waitress when I was at the fermentaria last time I was there that chairs lineup sometimes. I know it depends on certain factors (i.e. what kind of beer release, weather, day of week, etc), but any vets have any guess at what time the lines might start? Was planning on getting there as early as noon if need be. Thanks! cheers!

Interesting...didnt get any throat burn from the Space Needle. AC is on point, per usual.

I didn't get any burn but found it to be a little yeasty. Preferred the alien church by a decent margin.

I don't think you need to get there that early unless you really want to be in the front of the line. Last Milkshake release I got there at 3:30 and was fine. Hell most of the people showing up after 5 were fine. They ended up sending some to the bar.

I also experienced some burn, weird.

The line will start very early like noon, but there has never been a release where you needed to be in line before about 4:30 in order to get beer and the majority of weeks the beer lasts until at least 6.

If you're coming from out of town then you'll want to play it safer than I do but I assure you that lining up at noon is excessive. 3pm-4pm will make you totally safe and would be early enough for every release so far.

for the hill farm collab can i got in line around 6 and i was the last to get any cans of it... i'd be in line by 5:30 if you want to make sure you get cans of a double milkshake and if you can pull off being there earlier i'd do so... have to imagine a good turnout this week with people wanting to get some cans before their thanksgiving whatever... good beer to bring to a dinner or if traveling around the country for thanksgiving good beer to bring to trade share and trade etc. Milkshakes bring the boys to the yard

What are the chances of two Milkshakes released? Or 3 cans? They did say that this week was going to be "weird."

The last time they did peach they also did a blackberry milkshake I think. Would be cool to revisit that but with double versions of each. Fits the "big week" for sure.

Yes, usually on Wednesdays. They always announce the release the day before, and allotments on the day of.

Never been to a huge release but planning to head down Wednesday, I've been to more relaxed releases though. where do you guys recommend parking on releases like these?

Wherever you can. Make sure to feed the meter, tickets can be pricey. If you can get a red meter they are 12 hour meters, brown/grey are 2 hour. Big releases parking can be a major issue.... people are usually pretty nice and will save your spot if you tell them you are feeding the meter. Also - metered parking ends at 6

What is the likelihood they will have the peach double milkshake on tap on Wednesday? I thought I remembered them putting milkshakes on tap during previous can releases...
