I really enjoyed the trendler. It will eventually sell. Tired hands does more than IPAs and they do them well.

I don't know if you're joking, but there's nothing wrong with them canning something every once in a while that might not be as in high demand. As far as pilsners go, it's decent.

They are trying more than IPAs, can't say they are all that great. They kind of wish they could brew a lager imho.

Im dead serious. If cans are sitting behind the bar for 3+ weeks it should tell them people have little interest in it. I highly doubt they want the beer hanging around there either.

The saisons are some of the best around, they brew solid stouts. not a huge lager drinker, but the trendler is a solid brew

It's not so much that Trendler is a bad beer. It's just that I'm not going to wait 2 hours in line and drop $$$ on a standard Pilsner that I could find similarly at any beer store. You can't do that with the rest of their stuff.

Except that they've indicated multiple times that these are some of the beers that they most like drinking themselves. Can't fault them for wanting to share beers about which they're proud. If they're cool with them taking longer to sell, that's their prerogative.

La Cabra is not as niche as F&M, no restriction to English and Belgian styles and no wild yeast or old house for the brewery. So far they're standing out for the kickass food, hopefully the beers will get dialed in over time. La Cabra isn't making the hazy NE style IPA's, which is a nice distinction. They should have bottles of wild/sour beers eventually because I've seen them on Untappd (I guess they were homebrew or only given out before the brewery opened?) I'm following them on instagram and waiting for an announcement...

Was a specific reason provided for why they won't can a Saison?

    Cheers!

I had a couple of their beers at a beer festival (Kennett Square) and I thought both of those beers were excellent. As I type this message I can't recall brand names.

    Cheers!

Aren't they charging 16 bucks for the pils? Yeah, that's cheap compared to the milkshakes, but still, 16 dollars for 4 cans of a pilsner is insane, no wonder it's still sitting there.

You dont want to introduce saison yeast, brett or any other wild yeast to canning line. I am not sure if any brewery out there willing to take that risk. However, trillium is canning their saison...not sure how they are doing it.

But yet they do this with their bottling line. What distinguishes their bottling line from their caning line?

    Cheers!

Do they bottle any of their clean beers? I can't think of any.

They hand bottle on a 6 head filler.
