Growler Filling Policy: "Please feel free to fill as many growlers as you would like. In Pennsylvania, each transaction must be limited to 192 fluid ounces. This means that upon receipt, if you would like to purchase more than 192 fluid ounces of our beer, you must leave the premises and then return to pick up additional beer (and then repeat the cycle if you’d like any more beer!).

We will also be opening up for 64 oz growler fills on MOST ALL BEERS. There will, of course, continue to be a few beers that we will not do any growler fills of (one-off kegs, anniversary beers, etc.), but this should be a rare occurrence.

We will continue to fill our branded glassware only, as we are STILL exceedingly proud to put our name on our Strange & Beautiful beer. If this is a very big issue for you, we will be happy to let you “trade-in” any growler for one of ours. Sound good?"

    Growler fill Prices
    64 oz:
    $20.00
    32 oz: $10.50
    Glass: $5.00

(prices vary occasionally for higher gravity / limited quantity beers)

Anyone know if Sammi Curr mags are still at the General Store (yes, I know they are not on the website... they were not listed when they were available either)?

If anyone is feeling poor this week feel free to check out Freewill. That new beer they dropped (Love Letter from the 90s) is nuts. Thank me later.

Hopped on Free Will's website to check it out. Is Imperial India Cream Ale a thing?

    Love Letter From the 90's

Imperial India Cream Ale | 7.0%

Imperial India Cream Ale brewed with oats, milk sugar, and Bloody Butcher corn meal from Castle Valley Mill (Doylestown, PA). Dry hopped three times with Galaxy, Mosaic, and Citra. This fruit juice hop bomb has notes of tangerine, passion fruit, dried mango, and papaya.

I guess so. First time I had something of the sorts. The beer was delicious. Typical desert like beer with huge notes of fresh mango, papaya, and orange zest. Dare I say, milkshake like?!

I mean I get that the Cream Ale moniker is due to the corn adjunct, but the overall name is just as non-nonsensical as Black IPA or Session IPA.

I got there at around 5:30 and there was no line left at all, which is sweet. This hemp DIPA is very good but I'm not tasting the oak or hemp. If this exact beer was sold as PUNGE I wouldn't have suspected any difference from the normal TH DIPA.

They really need to make Punge again....

I'm honestly wondering if Tired Hands loves/hates or are indifferent to these weekly releases not selling out same day anymore.

I would think indifferent. They're still selling out a day or two later so it's not like the product is taking up space for a significant amount of time. They still made their money on the cans. I would think less traffic for dining at the Ferm on release day so may lose a little money there.

I was actually thinking the opposite. The less time people wait outside in a line is more time they can spend inside at the bar, especially if the cans are for sale there.

This sounds intriguing.. I think I'm going to take your recommendation and stop over there after work, assuming they still have cans available (fingers crossed).

if they make less money week to week/month to month then they were i'm sure they aren't pleased....

if you start to see a new "shake" every week you'll know why haha

Out of towner visiting TH for the first time since they started canning. So please forgive if these are dumb questions. Where are cans available at? The Store? The Ferementeria? The Brew Café? All three? What if you're dining after the store is closed? Can you pick up cans at the place you're dining or is it store only? How do you know when the special weekly release cans sell out? I know the instagram lists the special release cans but is that updated daily? Thanks@

Weekly releases are at the Fermentaria, hop hands cans are at the general store. General store is also where you can buy merch and bottles. They do have some merch at the other locations, but bigger selection at the general store. Best way to find out if the special cans are available is to call the Fermentaria 484-413-2983. If you are going to the Fermentaria on the weekend, you can make reservations for a table on their website. It does get busy on the weekends.

Just to add a bit to NickCaff, you can also most times get Hop Hands cans at the Ferm too.
