Tired Hands (November 2017)

Hat's off to you sir. Went on your recommendation and picked up two 4packs last night. Stuff was awesome! Really surprised me.

 

So both cans from Weds are still at the Ferm. Could one or both make it to Saturday? Records are being broken here!

 

Im not going to sleep on a brewery thats 5 minutes away from me. This was their best can to date IMO. Glad you enjoyed it!

 

Both Weds IPAs did indeed last until Saturday. Presumably neither will last until Sunday, but still, progress.

 

Yeah pretty crazy. Have to wonder how long something like Punge would last if they did 200+ cases of it.

 

Cans of both made it until today....

 

Finally dug into some of the past couple releases. Five Leaves Left 3 (Galaxy/Agave) smelled like straight up Congress Street and was nice on the palate but the finish completely fell off, I'm talking like completely disappeared, it was weird. Are We OK was insane for an 11% beer but didn't get much of the "triple fruited" aspect. Definitely great hop presence and very smooth. The latest batch of Prayer Group is great but I didn't really enjoy Extra Knuckle. In fact we liked the GABF gold Manta Ray over it. Cheers!

 

Looks like Punge is coming back this week!

 

How good is Punge? I try to a do a release every month or so and I'm thinking about making the trip this week.

Punge is one of my favorites, but I have heard people say the last batch wasn’t great....

 

Punge is awesome... We will probably get shakes sometime over the next two weeks if that makes your decision any easier or harder.

I bought the hype and stood in line in the freezing cold and got a full allotment of Punge last year and it probably my biggest TH regret. I really didn't like it. Even after a few weeks it never stopped being tasting boozy...almost like a malt liquor. I'll pass this year.

 

Reanimator is already their coffee supplier for the coffee beers and for in house coffee as well

 

Is it definitely Punge? Maybe Sticky Sphere?

I couldn't agree with you more. The sad part is, the first canning of Punge was incredible. I can still remember drinking it during snowmaggedon.
