No. It means that they more-than-likely draw inspiration from a scene that regularly utilizes similar tongue-in-cheek naming and descriptive devices.

 

Picked up 2 of the 3 at the Ferm today about 1:00. Got the GH and AT.

 

Basically throwing a bunch of beer labels on a piece of huge foam board and framing it for the man cave. Breaking the labels up by brewery.. IE) Tired Hands, Monkish, Veil, Other Half, etc. Ill post photos once its complete

 

That's cool. How do you get the labels off cleanly?

Going to hope since he came all the way out to visit, they also put something together for a can release at the Ferm.

 

Wasn't it about this time last year that the last Monkish collab can came out? I believe it was right around Thanksgiving.

 

Something big brewing for Thanksgiving perhaps?

 

Hottest tap water you can tolerate, let it sit in the can for 30 seconds and they generally comes off with ease. Tired Hands uses so of the strongest glue by far.

Pretty sure it's the #dreamglue causing all these other dreams in the first place.

 

I've found Tired Hands to be one of the hard labels to get off the can cleanly, but like was said above, really hot tap water and let sit. A lot of others will come off fairly easily if you get one corner started and go slow.

 

Tired Hands Instagram story shows a picture of Henry (from Monkish) with a bunch of recent milkshakes, "...Okay?" cans. Caption: "Passing the lactose torch I'm done with this."

Likely just a joke, but I would find it quite funny if Jean simply decided to give up on the milkshake series and give the rights to some other brewery to continue. Would be even better if he gave the recipes/rights to some random little brewery without much of a following that could suddenly be thrust into the spotlight by starting to make some of the most highly "hyped" beers... All the milkshake fans would suddenly flock to another brewery?

But it's prolly just a gag.

 

In before the inevitable "Not as good as when tired hands made them" hypothetical comment to a hypothetical situation.

 

If Monkish goes the "Milkshake" route you will see secondary IPA prices at an all time high..

You can see the remaining adhesive left on the TH cans vs. the Breaker Brewing cans...they must use the stickiest of the icky (ooh wee!)

 

From this morning's teaser, sounds like there will be a Weds release this week as per usual. They skipped Thanksgiving Eve last year, so hoping this does come to fruition. I suppose it could be a Black Friday release too.

 

Going there for lunch Friday, may have change plans a bit depending on what it is. Also - when they releasing the new hoodie they were wearing on Instagram

Guessing the release will be Tuesday this week with the teaser showing up on Sunday morning.

I had a chance to try to the Carrot Cake milkshake today at the Brew Cafe. Its lovely and probably one of my all time favorites.
