Growler Filling Policy: "Please feel free to fill as many growlers as you would like. In Pennsylvania, each transaction must be limited to 192 fluid ounces. This means that upon receipt, if you would like to purchase more than 192 fluid ounces of our beer, you must leave the premises and then return to pick up additional beer (and then repeat the cycle if you’d like any more beer!).

We will also be opening up for 64 oz growler fills on MOST ALL BEERS. There will, of course, continue to be a few beers that we will not do any growler fills of (one-off kegs, anniversary beers, etc.), but this should be a rare occurrence.

We will continue to fill our branded glassware only, as we are STILL exceedingly proud to put our name on our Strange & Beautiful beer. If this is a very big issue for you, we will be happy to let you “trade-in” any growler for one of ours. Sound good?"

    Growler fill Prices
    64 oz:
    $20.00
    32 oz: $10.50
    Glass: $5.00

(prices vary occasionally for higher gravity / limited quantity beers)

The Cafe is now selling 32oz crowlers.

Hoping its another fall themed one. That apple cider donut would have been perfect?

Jean is gonna F around and do a turkey dinner one for Thanksgiving smh

So trend says milkshake this week, but perhaps he throws a curve ball? We shall see.

The can page doesn't bother listing how many cases are left of each can any more. One assumes a Milkshake will still sell out in a day or 2, but who knows?

I believe they only highlight the remaining case limits on the first day or so. I can't imagine they want to showcase the remaining cases (especially if they are a lot) they have of beers that were released a week (or longer) ago.

Would still anticipate a milkshake to sell out within 1-2 days.

Had the pumpkin shake last night. I think it was well done. Nice balance of hops with the pumpkin spice flavor. It was good but not something I wanted more than one can of, nonetheless finish the can that I had.

Hope we get a no nonense, single fruit milkshake this week

Growing up in a Filipino household, fresh tamarind and tamarind candy was always around. I also love peach and other stonefruit in the milkshake IPA series. This one is a new brainer, I just hop the tartness of the tamarind doesn't overpower everything

I always love a little condescension in my beer announcements.

Never had the Jarritos Tamarind mexican soda referenced in the announcement - but I eat at Indian restaurants all the time and tamarind chutney is usually one of the chutneys served for eating papadums or other appetizers. Good stuff, good balance of sweet and earthy flavor, but I know that also has other spices in it.

They must have gotten some grumbling about the one with cardamom?

Or anything beyond just straight fruit, I just talked about it with one of the non shake beers where I could have done without everything past pineapple puree.

That shake is tempting me to make the 1 hour drive to just grab a single 4 pack.

I've been really hoping for like a Passionfruit shake or something for a while, though

Just for discussion sake, does the case allotment for a beer actually make that big of a difference in how long it will last? I mean obviously that is their goal but other than people who resell or just trade a crap ton, is there many people buying a case of a milkshake beer?

Most people buying shakes use it for trade bait. I personally can't have more than a four pack of a single shake. Lactose/vanilla IPAs just isn't something I want regularly, no matter how tasty they are.

Contemplating this shake or going for the Glitter Parts mango from levante. Decisions decisions

It's been psychologically proven that imposing limits on items causes shoppers to buy more than they would buy without limits. It will sell out quicker if no limits were imposed.

    Isn't that a contradiction?

Not really, only if you assume everyone is buying the full limit each time.

    Hypothetically --

Limit two 4 packs: "Oh, I NEED to buy both because it's harder to get and I don't want to miss my chance"

Limit six 4 packs: "Oh, it's not that hard to get and I'll have a chance to get more if I want, I'll just buy one and see how I like it first"

obviously this exaggerated but you can see how it's not contradictory.

Yes. It will sell quicker with limits imposed. I wrote that wrong.

But this is also probably correct for the shakes because people expect lower limits.

So why isn’t the can page updating the number of cases left. Does that mean boatloads are still available?
