I was not a fan of the last HF and TH collab Edward was showcased a lot more and def got and felt malt enough after a while

The response was definitely overblown. It seems that many of the people complaining didn't even try the beer, and are just feeding off what a few people initially said. I had one the day after the release and, while quite spicy/green, I thought it was pretty good and had the potential to be very good if mellowed properly.

On that note, anyone notice a difference between the Mago now and the Mago last week?

This should be a slightly above average release crowd-wise, but with 3 different cans I'm concerned about the allotments.

BA or Google search didn't turn anything up on this... but is the Tired Hands Brew Cafe expanding to another building? I drove by it yesterday and two doors down there was the tired hands sign and a liquor license permit in the window. Couldn't stop to check it out.

It's going to be a "General Store", whatever that means. They posted about it on IG a few days back.

They had some vague information on the instagram page, but will be a retail location of some sort. So they will be selling beer and sounds like food to go

May be wishful thinking but last three can release most people were just doing a mixed case so 2 of each. buying more than a case of perishable beer is just overkill IMO. how many mago complainers will line up, just about all I would guess ; )

Well the Mago isn't THAT perishable, according to its brewer it's not even drinkable yet for another week or more!

I'm in town (Philly) for a conference but get out early this afternoon. Could anyone let me know what time I should expect to be in line to receive any beer? Expected time in line? Sorry for the questions, but I'm not from the area and I'm trying to figure out if I'll have time to stop by before my train back tonight. Thanks for your help.

the chairs/line will form pretty early.. hell there may be a chair out there already... some guys go hang out inside/work on laptops etc... by 3pm the line normally will have 50ish+ people... by 5 it can be as many as 300.. really depends on the beer/weather/factors not known or measurable... often however you can arrive at 6pm, walkup, no line, get your allotment and be out. They have grown to be able to process through a line of 200 pretty quickly

allotments haven't been announced yet, think last week they had 600 allotments of mago.. and i think it made it to the bar and sold out around 7:30

hill farm collab is something people are interested in, it's never been done before so it'll draw a good crowd... not sure it'll be milkshake level but it'll be substatial... technicolor is a good ipa and hop hands is in cans as well... I'd expect 250 people in line by 5

The general rule of late is, if you're in line by 5p you should be good to receive beer. I would expect the line to be long given the HF collab + really nice weather, so expect to be on your way by 6-630p with your beer. The last release I went to, I was in line at 430p and was on my way with beer by 535p

I would think 5:00 is a safe time tonight, but I guess you never know with the allotments. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a case limit with HopHands.

Ok so over 500 hundred allotments again for the belle of the ball, hopefully no one has heard of this Hill Farmstead place.

So is it safe to assume that, based on similar demand and smaller yield, this'll likely not last as long as Double Watermelon and Key Lime did?

I'm hearing secondhand reports that there's a TON of chairs in line already, and nowhere near as many bodies in them, or the parking lot, or in the Fermentaria. Here we go again

I saw on their instagram that there are lots of folks offering sweet deals to mule them some 4 packs. Cash, food, beer whatever just pick it up for me bro

I would imagine a few of those chairs are for people muling beer.
