Tired Hands (October 2016)

Almost posted a super rant but then I took a deep breath and it is what it is. It's been a long week already.

 

Oh, I have no problem with that. Muling is fine..as long as your within a respectable proximity to the chair you've put in line. I'm getting the impression that there's a lot of people not even in the area. Now, might they be at the cafe? I don't know. That's pushing it imo. Be in your chair, in the parking lot area there, or in the Fermentaria.

 

Yeah I mean I don't either it was more of a "I just want one four pack and live 15 minutes away but can't ever get in line before 6" kinda rant. You know that age old tale.

 

This release is a shit show. The line wraps around the parking lot on cricket.

 

I would consider it one. The amount of negativity stemming from an under developed beer sure took social media by storm (IG, Untappd, Facebook, ect). In addition, Tired Hands inability to own up to their mistake added fuel to the fire.. so yes I think it was a fiasco.

 

How's the line looking? There's someone on their IG with the name MagooTagoo saying how it's the biggest line ever.. but i'm guessing that's just trolling.

 

I've not done a Tired Hands release but it blows my mind that you can just put a chair out there and go about your business and show up to claim your chair in the front of the line.

 

No - sadly biggest line ever. Wraps around the cricket parking lot and up the side of the philly sports club

 

Rumor of a dude at the front that put out like 4 chairs early on and is now selling spots to people.....

 

Anyone care to estimate whether it's worth showing up still, please?

 

Sad to say that stuff like this no longer surprises me.

 

Tough to say at this point. I just drove 2 hours and not feeling good about it.

Yep. Line is moving well but I can't imagine it lasting to the end of the line at this point but I guess you never know if people don't get full allotments.

 

How's the collab beer drinking? Gonna crack one tonight.

 

It's Tired Hands, never underestimate the nonsense that takes place. I can say that no other release events compare.

 

Someone by me in line was *i thought* joking about that and I did laugh about it, you know thinking it was a joke...can't believe someone actually did that....
