@Streaky Thanks for the explanation. I had the same experience with a can and you put it well (letting it sit a week didn't fix things). Got two left that I guess I will open over the next two weeks out of curiosity but this is not a good beer. I don't know how so many people don't notice or don't mind this strange aftertaste.

Mago is still terrible. If it wasnt for the finish the beer would be great but the way it stand I cannot drink more than 3oz before the bitterness is literally burning my throat. Cracked a can last night.

Sounds like they may have used Mangoes that were only partially ripe/ under ripe which can produce bitter to sour flavors.

It can be hard to use such delicate ingredients and scale the size of production up.

This is what I experienced, too. The first few ounces were good, and then the 'burning' and/or spice sensation took over with each subsequent sip. I am just going to let my other three cans sit for a while longer and see if there is any noticeable difference after week 2, 3 and 4.

I like the bitterness. I guess it's kind of like when people say they like the burn of the high ABV beers (which I actually don't like).

Hoping still for cans this week as I have off Wednesday. Considering it says the only void has already been lagered one month makes me seem this week will have a release as normal. I'm staying the hell away from that place Sunday, my heart goes out to you that will brave that line and crowd. My bet is it will be a bigger cluster than the anny party.

If it's a bigger cluster that the Ann. party they'll have to declare a state of emergency

We really need some strong breweries to open and balance this place out. It's been over run by those who ruin the enjoyment and I'm not blaming Tired Hands for it, minus the format of #dreambeer.

Am I the only one that keeps checking their email hoping that they allow believer reservations for the bottles.

Have you been to Hidden River yet? That place definitely gives Tired Hands a run for its money.

Ok don't know why it took so long to find this second hand info but was looking back through the Fermentaria First Anny Freak Out and it looks like there was a decent line (50 or so) at 7am. While I think that 5 hours will be insane I guess we won't get a better idea of when to get there until allotments are announced. Now also looking back at those comments from the Freak Out I am hoping that we all can take the High Road haha.

People were there really early. They did a good job of lowering allotments (depending on who you ask) and I think pretty much everyone that got in line was able to get their cans. Some people were really pissed off that they lowered the allotments, but more people were happy to get their cans.

Looks like another Milkshake this week. Ardmore might collapse in on itself after the brews being released this week...

Even when they lowered the allotments they didn't lower it for people near the front that waited a long time.

I'm curious to see how this goes and I expect it to be a shitshow because it's on Sunday and Tired Hands seems to be getting more popular. Only Void wasn't a crazy fast seller the two previous times it was canned though so maybe it won't be that different than the Fermentaria anniversary, bottles are a twist though. I'll be going to try and get these.
