Tired Hands (October 2017)

They (Al’s) recently tapped Alien Church. Yesterday, actually. Good to see that back.

 

So apparently Pineal is still at the General Store...interesting. Assuming this release today should last a few days?

 

The bar by me (Hulmeville Inn) has 5 Tired Hands beers on tap at the moment including Wish Fulfillment...really like that one.

 

I would assume. I havent tried the Leaves from last week but I am looking forward to the DIPA today with the local honey as the single sugar source.

Has anyone done the night before Halloween dinner before? Would it be strange if I went solo? for the cost I am not sure how much my wife would get out of it. Also do most people dress up? Thanks in advance.

Did this thread completely blow out of proportion the whole "NO MORE TIRED HANDS DRAFT ACCOUNTS!!" thing, or has that time simply come and gone? Looking at PhillyTapFinder now and there's 15 Tired Hands beers on tap (plus many more, as PTF is missing at least a few that I know have Tired Hands on) at a wide variety of bars.

 

would imagine if they have an excess of beer they would sell it to people they already have relationships with... i think the whole, we aren't distributing anymore is bc for a time they weren't in surplus and demand at the cafe/ferm was high... idk.. typical supply and demand type shit i would wager

Probably. My guess is that they are still working out things like seasonal demand changes and the like, and couldn't guarantee that there would be enough kegs out in distribution to service all or most of their draft accounts. Especially now that they are increasing their output of cans. A lot of that stuff can't really be worked out other than through trial and error - there is no way to predict on such a small scale how much your demand is going to fluctuate until you actually observe it.

 

Complacency on the can release again. If it ain't a Shake, it ain't nothing.

Has anyone had the Five Leaves Left II? Probably some left I can get at lunch opening today.

I recently had Pizza Boys Idaho 7 version of their Hopvision beer. I thought the hop aroma was much more grassy and herbal than the various fruits listed in the commercial descriptions from the hop companies.

Of course it could have been dependent on the dry hopping level/methods or the quality of their hops.

 

Rumors abound (that I'm feeding into!) that Sunday is going to be Only Void release. Post wild speculation here.

I'm most excited for the Instagram comments along the lines of: "OMG Only Void Milkshake release??"

 

Just got back, both still in stock as of 2:00 today.

 

Can I just say that I love Mike Lorenz and I love the partnership with Tired Hands, but I'm just tired of that graphic where he plays guitar out of the ass of a business/masquerade/electrically charged dudley beast now.

 

I sure hope it's not this Sunday because I have to work. An OV day the following Sunday?... I'd be fine with that.

 

Scheduling OV day for a Sunday the Eagles aren't playing would be nice, except I already have plans.

 

Are Only Void days just as crazy as milkshake releases?
