I'm going to be heading down to Tired Hands for the first time next Sunday. I'll only be there for the night and would like to hit up and couple places on Monday as well. If you only had time for one would you check out the Cafe or Fermentaria? Anything else I shouldn't miss?

I haven't been to the fermentaria yet, but I really dig the cafe on a sunday. You could really hit them both if you wanted, as they are really close to eachother. I recommend hitting Forest and Main in nearby Ambler also. They make some nice offbeat british and belgian style beers there.

Go to the Fermentaria, have the fried chicken plate, thank me later.

They only fill their own glass right?

They do, but have just recently said they will let you swap other growlers for theirs if you do not want to pay for theirs.

Cafe is closed Monday's so the Fermentaria is pick by default

    They said Sunday.

I see no reason you couldn't hit up both, but the cafe has a much more charming atmosphere.

    My bad sorry.

Then I'd say hit both. Different beers at both. I'd do the cafe first with some candied bacon then have the chicken at the fermentaria for a meal

Iron Hill's Paul Rutherford has decent hoppy brews right nearby as well. Brewhouse Favorites menu gets you a soup or salad, pint, and entree for maybe 20 bucks or less (depends what you get) only on Sundays. Then have a bunch of small pours at TH.

Edit: Ambler is not very close to Ardmore

Yeah, Ambler is a good half hour from Ardmore.

Conshohocken BC is about 15 minutes away from Tired Hands. That's a pretty solid brewery. The La Colomb Tandem is a nice beer.
