Been there, done that. If you had showed up on Saturday night I would have told you the story.

Yeah...sorry about that Tom. Saturday was not a good day for me. At all. I'm sorry I missed it. I'm sure a gret time was had by all.

Hopefully things have improved. Judging by all the bottles scattered about my property, someone had a good time.

I believe Morgan's Pier in Philly will allow you to fill a growler and consume on site. I could be wrong though.

The Zombie dies tonight. Gonna kill it while watching the results come in. Can't wait to try the other monsters!

I don't know whom within this thread had the opportunity to attend the dinner last night but, man...that was fabulous. Jean, Steve, and the rest of the staff really put together one hell of an evening.

Had the opportunity to attend the beer dinner last nite. I concur that Jean and the entire shinned. The food was stellar and the beer pairings worked nicely. The Black Lagoon is the shits. Looking forward to putting some age on that puppy before opening enjoying it.

I too was at the beer dinner last night and was truly impressed. The dessert course with Zombie really blew me away as well as the sample of Black Lagoon as a digestif! I hope I can hold onto my bottle long enough to really perceive its development.

I was there as well. The Vampire tasted really great as it warmed up a bit. Lots of orange.

The short ribs were amazing. Regular menu item? Haha.

Yeah man...I could have gorged myself on a pile of those short ribs. My god were those good. I'm sure the short ribs are the least practical item on that list to make even an occasional appearance on the menu, but the rest of last night's courses I think could be staples...the soup and the dessert chief among them. The bergamot creme brule with the blue cheese and apricot jam was one of the best combinations I've ever had in 34 years of eating food.

That looks awesome, I wish I could have been there. I also wish I could snag a bottle of Black Lagoon. Tired Hands might just be my first stop when I am back home for the holidays.

Do they still sell the bottles or was it a dinner thing?

I wanted to go to it but the tickets were sold out like a day after the announcement on the website. I'll have to pay more attention next time.

Guess they should've just completely cancelled the Halloween dinner and dumped the Halloween beers then.

Anybody going today? If so please BM about working out a trade for a growler of FlavorAroma. Sorry to get off topic.
