Just a little ol' hypothetical question for everyone to help me complete my mission:

There are two hypothetical boxes in front of you. Box A and Box B. Which would you prefer?

Box A: Bursting with delicious beer that is entirely from your wants list.

Box B: Bursting with delicious beer that is predominantly from your wants list, but with some "sender's choice" in there to keep things spicy.

In my opinion: Box B. The added excitement of beers that I'm unfamiliar with is, in my opinion, what makes this BIF business so dang fun. A decent obscure local beats a big-name powerhouse beer everytime, I say.

I agree. I love the surprises of the unknow box but some Wants are nice too. But you can trade for wants is you really want them. I like getting that beer I didn't even know about.

B as long as the " sender's choice" fall into the styles that the target enjoys. Unless it's a mind blowing beer in a style that the target thinks they don't like:wink: For me this could be a killer IPA. I'm not a huge fan, but I've recently had some that I enjoyed.

I'd rather get a want... but that's me personally, and that's really just in case I don't like it. I'd rather be disappointed by a beer I wanted to try, than by a beer the sender thought I would enjoy.

Hints: both of my targets have very little wants from my area so I hope they are okay with me improvising with, like ColdOne said, "sender's choice" type bottles.

To me either way is great. Usually if something is on my wants ( at least in the last 6 months) its something I have not had a chance to try or I have gotten one from a previous Bif and I want to revisit it another time or have a friend that needs to try it.

I'd go Box B too. Love to try new beers, especially if I can't get them around my area.

B)--as long as the others are styles that the target likes. My wants are based on reviews and opinions of others anyway, so I'm willing to trust the opinion of my sender.

My two boxes are approaching 170-190 oz. Just can't keep 'em down. First world problem, right?

Hint #1 / Target #1: Coming at you from the east.
Hint #1 / Target #2: Your wants are in my pants basement!

Hint #2 / Target #1-2: Lots of NE distro in your wants, brothers, which made this a little too easy. I've got some "Mike's Choice" in there as well.

Good question, I think I might have to do multiple boxes shipped out on multiple days. Hope my targets don't mind getting beer mail more than once a week :grinning:

Hint 1: My targets are participating in this BIFFFFFFFF
Hint 2: Listen to me if it please thee, I've riddles like a jester: West of me one target be, and t'other is even wester
Hint 3: The state of one of my targets begins with a consonant, and the other with a vowel
Hint 4: I have never been to either of my target's states, layovers at airports notwithstanding. However, I will be visiting Target #2's state over the long weekend. During my visit I will also be attending my first ever Renaissance Faire, where my singular goal will be to locate and consume a turkey leg that is at least as large as my forearm.

    Target one
Hint #1 - Target one's packages are heading north
Hint #2 - You have at least one NC beer in your wants, and will be getting at least one of you NC wants

    Target two
Hint #1 - Target two's packages are heading north
Hint #2 - You do not have any NC wants, but will be receiving the same beer as target #1s want

    BEER Hint #1
Beer Hint #1 - Check out today's "What are you drinking now?" thread to see one of the beers both my targets will be receiving.

I hate the inferiority complex you are giving to my boxes, but at the same time, I
love the fact that I could be one of your targets.

Hint--both of my targets have shipped me beer at some time in the past.
