I have been in the beer game a while and just gave up trying to get the whales. If I ever get to try them sweet but most that I have had would not have been worth the bait needed to land them. Unless its a killer BA its not worth the trouble sometimes. That's why I mostly do Bif's. it's more fun to let someone else tell you what your drinking.

Boxes packed, labels printed, I'll be shipping tomorrow. Target 1 will be receiving 264 oz of just north of 95 average beer, including 5 wants. Target 2 will be receiving 267 oz of just over 93 average beer, including 1 want (the walez, I do not have them). Both of those oz totals include IOU's for 32 oz of a 100 beer that I won't get until just after the end of the shipping period, so they'll be like a "P.S.", as in "pretty sweet".

Going to be shipping one box this week to a city that boasts more fleas than any other U.S. city and when I get back into town I will be sending to the state that is the world's largest manufacture of magic supplies.

Each have a want or two in them, but hold delicious North East goodies that won't disappoint

Hint 1: My targets are participating in this BIFFFFFFFF
Hint 2: Listen to me if it please thee, I've riddles like a jester: West of me one target be, and t'other is even wester
Hint 3: The state of one of my targets begins with a consonant, and the other with a vowel
Hint 4: I have never been to either of my target's states, layovers at airports notwithstanding. However, I will be visiting Target #2's state over the long weekend. During my visit I will also be attending my first ever Renaissance Faire, where my singular goal will be to locate and consume a turkey leg that is at least as large as my forearm.
Hint 5: My targets are in adjacent states and it would take 4.5 hours to drive from one to the other. Or just over an hour to fly, apparently for $334. Wow, new Google Maps is CRAZY!

Maybe some mid-west shelf or local brewery only Whalez, but I don't own any serious Whalez bro

    Review of hints

Target 1: East of me & will be receiving a Kuhnhenn wine. Also considering sending a box w/ fewer total oz, but 100% barrel aged for this fellow as half of what I collected so far is ba anyways.
Target 2: West of me & soon to have their 1 year anniversary on BA.

    New hints:
Target 1 gets bonus beers for sending to InstantMessinger after JustinF was a douchenozzle.
Target 2 is most likely smart.

On a side note, 90% sure I figured out one of my senders, and pretty stoked about it.

Also 90% sure you fools sending 5,000oz boxes are gonna make me look like a tool. JK.

I am late to this party but need to throw some hints up:

Hint #1 - one target east of me, one is west
Hint #2 - one partner would take 30 minutes for me to drive to his house, the other about 5 days
Hint #3 - I have traded with one of my targets
Hint #4 - I think each of my targets might get some local growler goodness

Yeah you shouldn't have any trouble with your turkey leg quest.

Illinois and Missouri, even though Bristol is technically in cheeseland. Might as well grab yourself some New Glarus while you're up there.

Looks like ZD is going to be a bust, so my boxes will probably go out tomorrow unless something changes. There is 12 oz. of BA stout in each box - one is rated considerably higher than the other, but I very much like both of them. Unfortunately I only have one of the better one left, so the target with it as a want, gets it.

I also had the honor of doing the first review of one of the beers that I am sending out.

    Target 1:
    283.4 oz.
    Weighted average rating: 90.77
    Highest rated: 97
    Lowest: 86
Wants: 0. Unfortunately, target 1 thinks my cellar is loaded with whalez. :slight_frown: But don't worry, I'm dropping some stuff on you that is either form the same brewery as some of your wants, or in the same styles of things you have had and appear to like.

    Target 2:
    246.8 oz.
    Weighted average rating: 91.41
    Highest rated: 100
    Lowest: 87
Wants: 3.5 (I added the "1/2 want" for a tasty new variant of something that's on your wants but is long gone)

Hint 6: Unlike me as a kid, I'm sure neither of my targets had to use "HOMES" or other mnemonics to remember the names of the Great Lakes since their states both touch them.

You're confusing me now. You must be visiting either Illinois or Wisconsin this weekend since you're going to the Bristol Renaissance Faire. If you consider WI to be further west of you than IL (I guess technically it is slightly further west from a driving standpoint), then your hints work.

If I'm going to blow my load with so many hints so early I might as well make them confusing and/or slightly misleading, right?! :grinning:

Plus I only said one of my TARGETS was further west of me than the other.

Ahh hell, I'm shipping today. Slow holiday week, so my targets win. Box 1 will be landing in one of the 6 biggest states on Friday. Box 2 will be also be hitting one of the 6 biggest, but on Tuesday.

Hint: My targets live approximately 1400 miles apart, and the best route between them passes within a mile of Mexico.

Wow--you all are making me feel like a slouch. I've barely begun gathering stuff for my targets and you're already shipping.
If I hadn't spent 5 days sitting by a lake and drinking most of the rewards from Cuzco's BIF, I might have accomplished more by now.
Shopping in earnest begins this weekend.
